| Race 3 | Trophy Specialists & Engraving Ltd Dash - C4 - 375 | LITTLE MARVEL was awkwardly away from the boxes for a stride , soon after this ANOTHER NICK (fav) came out as FLASHFIRE COAL came in and they came together for a couple of strides YOUNG VALIANT was tightned between runners for some distance racing across the top bend and was held up in this incident and may have well paid adividend had he got clear earlier |

Soon after the start THRILLING GIRL (fav) and CAWBOURNE WILKO came across fast ,resulting in TRICKY DAISY being checked back to the rear , THRILLING GIRL kept racing over to the rail and caused severe crowding to CYCLONE TRAVIS and CHIVAS REGAL ,she then ran in on to and almost hit the rail at that point and had trouble making up ground from there on in in a roughly run contest in the first half of the race. STAR TO EXCEL was tightened as they raced in to the first turn and made contact with the rail at that point and was sent for a vet check where he was found to have suffered bruising to the left shoulder THRILLING GIRL was sent for a vet check as a precaution |
| Race 5 | North Island Challenge Stakes Heats Group 2 - C5q - 457 Heat 1 | WITCH JASPER got away well from the start ,but went back to the rear soon after and finished some distance behind the field ,and was sent for a vet check and was found to have suffered a right dorsel injury AVA APPEAL (fav) was racing towards the lead across the top bend and was observed to falter clear of any interferance and pulled up in the home straight and was taken care of by the vet and was found to have suffered a biceps muscle injury PINK RELTUB raced very wide across the top and in to the home straight |
| Race 6 | North Island Challenge Stakes Heats Group 2 - C5q - 457 Heat 2 | As the field raced away from the boxes SEASWIFT came across fast as AWESOME VOYAGE came out resulting in LOCHIVAR PRICE and GENISTA ROCKET being squeezed back to the rear Racing in to the first turn ROCKABYE LAD came over on to ALPHA DANCER and these two dogs came together with ALPHA DANCER going back through the field and he finished in last position at the line |
