| Race 1 | Vision Manawatu Sprint - C0 - 375 | UNO I'M QUICK was handy to the first corner but was tightened between EVE HILL and HOMEBUSH JONAH and was severely checked and almost fell and she lost several lengths and stayed back to finish in last place. EVE HILL also lost ground in the incident and finished in 2nd last place and was examined by the Vet who found the dog had reopened an old injury to a metacarpus and was stood down for 14 days. |
| Race 2 | Quality Presentations Ltd Maiden Middle Distance - C0 - 457 | JONES BAXTER began awkwardly and settled well back and then ran wide over extra ground on the bend but made up ground to finish in 4th place. GISELLE QUEEN wanted to run out from the start and made contact with OKAY'S RHETT BEE and lost ground. She then continued to move out and made contact with OKAY'S DE BRETTO and lost further ground and finished in 2nd last place. |
| Race 3 | Outback Trading Company Ltd Sprint Final - C1f - 375 | The favourite OHAU WILLEE was one of the slowest to begin but recovered to finish a very close 2nd. |
| Race 4 | GEON Wellington Middle Distance - C1 - 457 | The favourite ASK THE BANDIT was away well and was handy rounding the bend but faded in the home straight and finished in 2nd last place. He was examined by the Vet as a precaution and stood down for 10 days with a quadricep muscle injury. COMET PRINCESS was one of the slowest to begin and then raced wide throughout but finished strongly for 3rd place. FANCY FREDA who finished in last place was examined by the Vet and stood down for 28 days with a fractured and lacerated toe. |
| Race 5 | Oroua Downs Tannery Sprint - C3 - 375 | RAISINS and POWERFUL ENEMY bumped together soon after the start and settled at the rear . CAWBOURNE TEXAS and JAG'S FLYER were handy to the first corner but were checked losing several lengths and they never recovered and finished in the rear group. BLACK MUSKAT was also checked and pushed wide in the incident and he finished at the rear with the other two dogs. |
| Race 6 | Company Branding Shop, Levin Middle Distance - C2/3 - 457 | The favourite WINSOME JAMES was slow to begin but then secured a clear run to finish in 2nd place. DADDY was checked on the first corner and lost ground and he never recovered and finished in last place. |
| Race 7 | Nigel "Sharky" Clark Memorial - C5 - 375 | BLACK TIE jumped in at the start and checked DANDALOO BLUE who settled in last place and stayed there to the finish. BLACK TIE and PIZZAGIRL collided on the first corner and both lost ground and they fnished in 5th and 7th places |
| Race 8 | Porter Hire Palmerston North Middle Distance - C4/5 - 457 | FANCY MAY ran wide on the bend forcing RAPPER NEWY wide and they both covered extra ground and finished well back. |
| Race 9 | NZ Trotting Cup At The TAB Tomorrow Six Pack - C4 - 375 | JUST LIKE BEE moved out on the first corner and collided with ANOTHER MANGLES and lost ground. One of the favourites SAINT DANIEL was checked and fell on the first corner and he was examined by the Vet and stood down for 7 days with a pectoral muscle injury. |
| Race 10 | Pain Security Services Sprint - C2 - 375 | SHARIMORE made contact with ANOTHER WACK on the first corner and ANOTHER WACK suffered an injury and pulled up in the home straight. She was examined by the Vet and stood down for 21 days with a carpus injury. RED TERROR made cotact with the hind quarters of WINSOME BOND on the home turn and turned the dog sideways and WINSOME BOND ran out forcing WHAT'S UP ADDIS very wide on the track and they lost all chance. |
