| Race 1 | Allied Work Force 0800 Labour - C2 - 305 | STUMPY RELTUB and RAISINS jostled together on the first corner and STUMPY RELTUB was then galloped on by ROYAL MINTY and fell. Also affected in the incident were ROYAL MINTY, CATCH THE BREEZE, FIVE KAY KAT and SHARIMORE who all lost some ground while BIGTIME FORCE and MACAU were ahead of the those mentioned and they finished 1st and 2nd. STUMPY RELTUB was examined by the Vet and stood down for 5 days with pain in a pectoral muscle. |
| Race 2 | Bilderbeck Construction - C1 - 520 | SNOWIE SECRET was slow to begin and was in last place on the first corner but made up ground to finish in 4th place. ACCUSER ran in from the start and caused jostling to itself and also SEPTEMBER BLUE and PURE FURY and they settled in the rear group. SEPTEMBER BLUE gradually made up the lost ground and went on to win the race but PURE FURY and ACCUSER stayed back to finish in the rear group. ACCUSER appeared lame after the race, was examined by the Vet and stood down for 14 days with pain in a wrist / stopper bone. |
| Race 3 | Broad Roofing Services - C3/4 - 305 | GOOGLE MAGOO led to the first corner but was galloped on by CAWBOURNE SERENE and they both lost ground with CAWBOURNE SERENE dropping back and causing checks to RUN JAKE RUN and AWESOME VINTAGE who lost all chance. CAWBOURNE SERENE recovered to finish well for 3rd place but GOOGLE MAGOO received another check approaching the home turn and dropped back to finish in 2nd last place. |
| Race 4 | Wanganui Security Services - C2 - 520 | BIGTIME RELOADER and THRILLING NEO bumped together jumping from the boxes and settled near the rear. CYCLONE TRAVIS was bumped and pushed wide over extra ground on the first bend and he stayed at the rear from there to the finish. |
| Race 5 | Guthrie Bowron Wanganui - C3 - 305 | HOMEBUSH PERCY went up with the box lids when they opened and lost several lengths but finished very well for 4th placing. BIGTIME SLAMMER was tightened between DOOLEY'S CHICK and SCOTT NO WIVES at the start and lost ground but recovered to finish in 2nd place. DOOLEY'S CHICK, BIGTIME ELITE and POWERFUL ENEMY were checked and lost ground on the first corner and POWERFUL ENEMY recovered to finish 3rd but DOOLEY'S CHICK and BIGTIME ELITE stayed back to finish in the last two places. |
| Race 6 | Keenan Concrete 6 pack - C3 - 520 | CATCHING ON and BLAKE'S ANGEL collided on the first corner and lost several lengths and all chance and they never recovered and finished in the rear group. VIVALDI ROAD raced well back and appeared to cramp over the final stages. He was examined by the Vet as a precaution which confirmed the cramping and also found the dog to have a moderate case of thumps but no stand down was required. |

| Race 8 | Harrison Hiremaster - C4/5 - 520 | ALFA DANCER ran in from the start and caused bumping to MAJOR HIT and KID DELANEY who lost a little momentum in the incident. LITTLE MOTHER moved out on the first corner and collided with MAJOR HIT and both dogs lost ground with MAJOR HIT being forced wide into the first bend and he stayed back to finish in last place while LITTLE MOTHER recovered to finish in 2nd place. ANDY D'GANDY was tightly placed racing into the first corner and appeared to brush against the rail for several strides. |
| Race 9 | Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd - C4/5 - 305 | NATASHA'S DUFFER was checked and lost several lengths on the first corner and she never recovered and finished in last place. |
| Race 10 | Mars Petcare - C4/5 - 305 | STAR CONQUEST, ALL ABOUT DOSH and ALLEGRO VISION were all checked on the first corner and lost several lengths and all chance and they finished in the last three places. |
