| Race 1 | Allied Work Force 0800 Labour - C0 - 305 | EVE HILL ran in from the start and caused checks to TYPHOON PETE, ASH VEGAS, THRILLING ROBYN, HOMEBUSH WIGGLE and THRILLING NOTE who all lost varying amounts of ground. FLYBY KAHN moved in on the bend and checked THRILLING NOTE who lost ground and went back to last but ran on a little to finish in 6th place. TYPHOON PETE checked over the heels of the eventual winner DASH on the bend and this probably cost it the chance of finishing in the first three placings. |
| Race 2 | Mickey's Super Liquor - C0 - 520 | BIG DADDY SLOY and JACK BANNER collided on the first bend and they both lost approxamately six lengths and the chance of a closer placing than 3rd and 4th. |

| Race 4 | Wanganui Farm Supplies - C1 - 520 | THRILLING BUSTA began awkwardly losing ground but he recovered to finish well for 2nd place. SEPTEMBER BLUE and OKAY'S VERA DEE bumped together several times in the race to the first corner and dropped to the rear. They then collided entering the back straight losing several lengths and all chance and they finished in the last two places. |
| Race 5 | GEON Wellington - C1 - 305 | THRILLING SIMONE moved in racing to the first corner and checked EVAMORE who went back to last and stayed back to finish in 2nd last place. STEAL IT DAN was handy going into the bend but was galloped on by THRILLING GABBY and they dropped back to finish in the rear group. |

| Race 8 | Gary Ross Decorator - C1 - 520 | The favourite THRILLING ASH raced back in the field but was on a forward move on the final bend until held up behind FLYBY ROSE MAREE for a few strides and finished in 2nd last place. |
| Race 9 | Broad Roofing Services - C1 - 305 | SKIPPER LADY and UPAHUT STAR came together soon after the start and they both lost ground. They collided again on the first corner and lost further ground and RHYANA REASON who was following was also checked and they stayed back to finish in the last three places. |
| Race 10 | www.wanganuicarcentre.com - C1 - 305 | THRILLING BLADE and RUSTY ENFORCER were both slow to begin and lost three lengths but they ran on well to finish in 2nd and 4th places. |
