| Race 1 | Allied Work Force 0800 Labour - C0 - 305 | FLYBY KAHN was slow to begin losing three lengths and although he did make up some ground, he only beat two home. SUCH A MYSTERY and THRILLING ROBYN bumped together for several strides in the run to the first corner and they then ran wide into the bend and forced THRILLING NOTE and HOMEBUSH ACE wide over extra ground. |

| Race 3 | Guthrie Bowron Wanganui - C0 - 305 | THRILLING GABBY was the slowest to begin but recovered to be in 2nd place on the home turn but had to check over the heels of IRISH ENFORCER and go around that runner and went on to win the race. HOMEBUSH WIGGLE ran in racing to the first corner and made contact with PEGSONE and they were both checked and LOOKS DECIEVING and FLYBY RADAR who were following were also checked and they finished in the last four places. |
| Race 4 | Wanganui Farm Supplies - C0q - 520 Heat 1 | SPARROW HAZE was checked on the first corner and then received a severe check entering the back straight and lost several lengths and finished a long last. She was observed to be lame after the race, was examined by the Vet and stood down for 28 days with a sprained medial ligament. |
| Race 5 | GEON Wellington - C1f - 305 | LAURIE'S BEST ran out in the back straight and caused checks to CAWBOURNE MADGE and HOMEBUSH ASTRID who both lost ground. CAWBOURNE MADGE recovered to finish in 4th place but HOMEBUSH ASTRID stayed back and finished in last place. |
| Race 6 | Keenan Concrete 6 pack - C1 - 520 | PURE FURY ran out in the run to the first corner and checked DAPTO TOKEN, SNOWIE SECRET and COMET PRINCESS who all lost ground. FINN'S ANGEL, who won on the track on 16.10.09 and then failed to race up to expectations in finishing 7th at Manawatu on 19.10.09, was away very well today and raced handy to the lead before running on to win well. FINN'S ANGEL had been examined and cleared of injury on 19.10.09. Trainer B.Cole was questioned regarding the change in form and was of the opinion that because the dog had never raced or trialled at Manawatu, he was a little lost but could offer no other reason for the form reversal. |
| Race 7 | Morrie Gibbons Signs - C1 - 305 | The favourite THRILLING RAY was slow to begin but made up ground well to finish in 4th place. THRILLING BRUNO was also slow away and he stayed well back to finish in 7th place. TRICKY PAULA was checked on the first corner and went back to last and finished in that position. |
| Race 8 | Gary Ross Decorator - C1 - 520 | HOMEBUSH HANNAH ran in from the start and checked THRILLING BUSTA and THRILLING SKITZ who both lost ground. THRILLING ASH ran in on the first corner and checked HOMEBUSH HANNAH who moved out and caused a severe check to the favourite SEPTEMBER BLUE who almost fell and lost several lengths and all chance. She did make up a huge amount of ground but still finished in last place. |
| Race 9 | Broad Roofing Services - C1 - 305 | STILL NO TRACK was checked on the first corner and almost fell and he never recovered and finished last. |
| Race 10 | www.wanganuicarcentre.com - C1 - 305 | THRILLING BLAST moved in in the back straight and bumped BENBULBEN BEN onto SHOWTIME ADDIS and they both lost ground and dropped back onto HOMEBUSH CINDY who had missed the start and was racing at the rear. SHOWTIME ADDIS recovered to finish in 3rd place but the other two runners stayed back to finish at the rear. |
