| Race 1 | Allied Work Force 0800 Labour - C0 - 305 | BIGTIME EYE and POLLY'S PRINCESS led to the first corner but they collided and BIGTIME EYE then moved out and forced CAWBOURNE WAYNE wide over extra ground on the bend and all three runners lost ground in the incident. LOOKS DECIEVING, CAWBOURNE QUICK and IRISH ENFORCER collided on the first corner and they all lost ground and they stayed back to finish in the last three places. |
| Race 2 | Mickey's Super Liquor - C0 - 520 | One of the favourites WAHINE KURE was checked and lost ground at the start and was then forced wide on the first bend losing further ground but was observed to be running on well to finish in 4th place. SUCH A MYSTERY and TYPHOON PETE collided when jumping from the boxes and settled back in the field. SUCH A MYSTERY, who was having his first start over this distance, tired badly over the final stages and finished several lengths last. |
| Race 3 | Guthrie Bowron, Wanganui - C1 - 305 | One of the favourites THRILLING BRUNO was checked in the run to the first corner and went back to last but made up some ground to finish in 5th place. PHANTOM FOG checked over the heels of RUSTY ENFORCER on the first corner and both lost ground but recovered to finish in 3rd and 4th places. |
| Race 4 | Wanganui Farm Supplies - C1 - 305 | The favourite PSYCHOTIC was slow to begin losing three lengths but he recovered well to finish in 2nd place. CAWBOURNE DI was handy to the first corner but was checked and dropped back onto HOMEBUSH LOYAL and they lost several lengths. Soon after, HOMEBUSH CINDY galloped on the back of ZACHARY SAME and they also lost several lengths and these four dogs finished in the last four places. |
| Race 5 | GEON Wellington - C1f - 305 | BIGTIME SURVIVOR checked off the heels of FORTIS JOURNEY and lost ground near the first turn and then soon after ROYAL MINTY and FORTIS JOURNEY bumped together and lost ground and BIGTIME SUVIVOR, who was just behind then was again checked. On the home turn ROYAL MINTY angled out sharply causing checks to BIGTIME SURVIVOR and FORTIS JOURNEY who both fell. They were examined by the Vet and both were cleared of injury apart from some minor grazing and abrasions to BIGTIME SURVIVOR. |
| Race 6 | Keenan Concrete 6 Pack - C1 - 520 | OKAY'S DERMATOFF and WINSOME DOLL collided on the first corner and OKAY'S DERMATOFF lost ground and went back to last but he then made up some ground to finish in 5th place. WINSOME DOLL moved in at the end of the back straight and tightened THRILLING ACE who dropped back to last and finished in that position. |

| Race 8 | Gary Ross Decorator - C1 - 520 | The favourite SEPTEMBER BLUE was one of the slowest away but gradually made ground throughout the race to win. BIGTIME BALLAD and THRILLING MOSS collided on the first bend and THRILLING MOSS dropped back onto THRILLING ASH and they never recovered and finished in the last two places. |
| Race 9 | Broad Roofing Services - C1 - 305 | BANG WALLOP began very awkwardly losing several lengths and all chance of a placing. SUPER SAGE moved in on the first corner and checked HOMEBUSH KING and HOMEBUSH KELLY and they dropped back onto HOMEBUSH CHARLI and these three dogs lost three lengths. PEACE ICON was also affected in the incident and then raced wide on the bend over extra ground and finished in last place. |

The eventual winner BIGTIME FORCE then moved in and checked BRUTUS FINALE and UPAHUT CRYSTAL and they lost ground but then recovered to finish in 2nd and 4th places |
