Judicial report: An inquiry was opened and adjourned into a charge under Rule 88.1 p when it is alleged that J.McInerney Junior had failed to obey the order of the starter to box the dog PIZZA GIRL when requested to do so in race 7. The adjournment was at the request of Mr McInerney who stated that he required his father to be present as his representative and a time and date will be notified to the parties concerned in due course.

Race 1	Allied Work Force 0800 Labour - C2 - 305	J.McInerney Junior was spoken to by the Starter after he had failed to move forward to box the dog HOMEBUSH REECE when first requested to do so. CAWBOURNE SIENNA and PURA LADY bumped together on the bend and lost momentum but finished on to be 5th and 6th at the post.
Race 2	Bilderbeck Construction - C1 - 520	BOTANY TOM and BOTANY STORY were both slow to begin and they stayed well back to finish in the last two places. ACCUSER began on terms with other runners but was lost for early speed and raced well back. She finished on very well over the final stages for 3rd placing.
Race 3	Broad Roofing Services - C2/3 - 305	RANUI jumped in at the start and bumped FORGET NOT and went back to last. He then went forward but was checked on the first corner losing several lengths and stayed back to finish in last place.
Race 4	Wanganui Security Services - C1 - 520	PURE FURY was slow to begin and then covered extra ground by going wide on the first bend. She then maintained a good run from the rear and finished in 4th place. BOTANY HORNET and LEO'S BOY were in or near the lead until the final bend but then bumped together and lost ground. THRILLING ACE then raced onto the heels of BOTANY HORNET who drifted further from there and finished in last place with THRILLING ACE just ahead in 7th place after also losing ground in the incident.
Race 5	Guthrie Bowron Wanganui Feature - C3f - 305	One of the favourites HOMEBUSH MARLON began awkwardly and settled near the rear and he then checked off the heels of SMART JOSEPHINE on the first corner and stayed back to finish in 2nd last place. He was observed to be sore on pulling up and was examined by the Vet and stood down for 28 days with a sesamoid joint injury.
Race 6	Keenan Concrete Services - C2/3 - 520	The favourite LITTLE MOTHER was one of the slowest away and was then checked on the first corner when STARFIRE BOY and CHIVAS REGAL bumped together and STARFIRE BOY moved out onto LITTLE MOTHER who lost three lengths and went back to last. She mounted a strong run from there to finish well for 2nd place with STARFIRE BOY and CHIVAS REGAL staying back to finish 6th and 7th.
Race 7	www.wanganuicarcentre.com - C5 - 305	SCISSOR SISTERS checked off the heels of SWIFT CONQUEST on the bend and lost three lengths but then recovered to run on for 3rd placing.
Race 8	Harrisons Hire Master - C4/5 - 520	BIGTIME GEM ran in from the start and checked NELLY JEAN who lost a little ground. Soon after, SUZY MAC , BIGTIME GEM and ALFA DANCER jostled together for several strides and the first two mentioned dogs were checked and lost ground. BIGTIME GEM recovered to finish in 3rd place but SUZY MAC stayed back to finish last.
Race 9	Crombie Lockwood (nz) Ltd - C4 - 305	CAWBOURNE SERENE moved out on the first corner and forced JOSHIE'S GIRL, SWINGING ZORRO, BIGTIME ELITE and GOOGLE MAGOO wide over extra ground and they never recovered and finished in the last four places.
Race 10	Media Works - C5 - 305	The favourite CIRALDO was slow to begin and settled in last place and was then held up behind MR SIMPLYfor several strides in the race to the first corner. CIRALDO and MR SIMPLY then collided and jostled together on the home turn and they finished in the rear group.
