| Race 1 | Allied Work Force 0800 Labour - C0 - 305 | RAISINS(fav) came over fast from the start and caused THRILLING NOTE to check back for a stride and he went back to the rear at that point As they left the boxes ITERU RA came across hard looking for the lure and cannoned in to OH LORDY putting him off stride for a few metres As the field made their way down to the first turn BLUE STRATA came out wide to aviod tightning and raced wide across the top bend resulting in him covering a lot of extra ground and only beat one other runner to the line |
| Race 2 | Bilderbeck Construction Ltd - C1 - 305 | Soon after the start there was tightning between THRILLING BASIL ,MISTER WHISKER and BIGTIME LAKISHA for several stides On the point of the top bend THRL\ILLING BASIL was endevouring to get clear racing room and was checked back from behind BENBULBEN BEN and he moved out and was hampered byZIC ZAC MAN who was racing on his outside and this caused him to run in to RISING GAS and as they straigened for the run home ZIC ZAC MAN ran out and collided with THRILLING BASIL knocking him off stride at that point |
| Race 3 | Broad Roofing Services - C0 - 520 | Soon after the start KARN and WAHINE KURE came together for a couple of strides KARN could not get clear racing room racing down to the first turn and dropped back and stayed there throughout the journey and finished in last position at the line |
| Race 4 | Wanganui Security Services - C1 - 305 | STAR TO EXCEL (fav) and BILLY WHIZ were slow away at the start ,as the field raced in to the first turn BIGTIME EBONY was racing in tight quarters and had to check back a stride and went back on to BILLY WHIZ who moved outwards to avoid heels and took STAR TO EXCEL wide across the top bend STAR TO EXCEL had any chance of getting in to a winning position from there on in as a result of this inteferance |
| Race 5 | Guthrie Bowron, Wanganui - C1 - 520 | As the field left the boxes LISA SHIRAZ came across the face of GONE ZILLA (fav),HONEY BOUND and THRILLING MOSS causing these dogs to be tightened and checked back at that point THRILLING MOSS and SUZY THE FLUZY were tightened further as they started in to the first turn and lost ground back to the rear HONEY BOUND came out wide of her own accord racing in to and around the first bend which caused her to cover a lot of extra ground throughout the running and she finished in last position at the line GONE ZILLA was making good ground as they made their way in to the home turn and was forced to change ground outwards at a crucial point ,but the winner CYCLONE TRAVIS had finished too well for the rest |
| Race 6 | Keenan Concrete 6 Pack - SPECA - 305 | As the field left the boxes FLYBY ROSE MAREE got away awkwardly and was then hit by LITTLE MOTHER (fav) who had been checked by OUR NICKI GALLOP who came across hard from his box LITTLE MOTHER went back to the rear of the field and took a while to get going again but ran on well for 3rd placing at the line, she has been racing over distances at her previous starts so it was a good effort from her |
| Race 7 | Mickeys Super Liquor - C1 - 305 | As the field raced down to the first turn THRILLING RANGER came across towards the rail as CAWBOURNE MADGE came out and they came together resulting in CAWBOURNE MADGE being squeezed and lost ground ,BIGTIME UNIQUE had to check back at this point as he ran on to THE back of THRILILLING RANGER and he went back to the rear with THRILLING RANGER and these two dogs could not get back in to contention from there on in filling the lst two placings at the line HAGLER was slow away from the boxes and this cost him a chance of a closer finish |
| Race 8 | Harrisons Hire Master - C1 - 520 | COMET PRINCESS and ACCUSER came together soon after the start jostling each other for some distance as they raced down to the first turn FLOATING AWAY and KIWISAVER came together at the post the first time however KIWISAVER ran on well in the finish to run 2nd BLACK OCTANE a favoured runner in his NZ debut was well away from the boxes and in 3rd place as thay raced in to the first bend and was slightly checked by FLOATING AWAY as thay raced down the back straight and went out a bit wide across the top costing him ground and he weakened in the run home to finish at the rear |
| Race 9 | Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd - C1 - 305 | At the start SPECTRA CONQUEST came across on to JASON BOURNE unbalancing him for a stride ,then BIGTIME MISS came out on to JASON BOURNE squeezing out the (fav) BIGTIME SURVIVOR towards the rear ,soon after this as thaey raced towards the first turn HOMEBUSH CHARLI came in hard over towards the rail and caused severe tightning to JASON BOURNE and BIGTIME SURVIVOR who was severly hampered and may have made contact with the raiil at that point JASON BOURNE and BIGTIME SURVIVOR dropped back sharply from this incident losing all chance and filled the last two placings at the line BIGTIME SURVIVOR was sent for a vet check where no abnormalities were found |
| Race 10 | Media Works - C1 - 305 | BIGTIME DORA was slow to leave the boxes and a few strides on SOULJAH BOY came across hard towards the rail and got on the heels of STUMPY RELTUB ,SOULJAH BOY carried on over and cannoned in to THRILLING CHEIF who was pushed on to BIGTIME DORA who was badly squeezed up and made contact with the rail and went back to the rear ,soon after as they raced in to the first turn MISS TORI came past SOULJAH BOY and hit him on the side resulting in him colliding with THRILLING CHEIF these two dogs went back to the rear where they could not recover to get back in to contention from there on in filling the last two placings at the line There is no photo finish for race ten on the disc to upload to this report BIGTIME DORA was sent for a vet check where she was found to have suffered bruising to her left shoulder with a 5 days stand down reccomended |
