Judicial report: Trainer D.D.Schofield was fined $ 250-00 under Rule 88.1 o when he was found to be negligent in not scratching his dog FANCY SPIDER by the time required to allow the 2nd reserve ADDIS JAY to enter the field. It was found that kennel staff knew several hours before scratching time of 7-30 a.m that the dog was suffering from diarrhoea and would not be starting but the Club was not advised until approxamately 10-30 a.m.

Race 1	Quality Presentations Ltd - C0 - 375	KARAKA ROYALE was away well but galloped on the heels of ARTEMIS LADY on the first corner and fell and ALAMEIN ATTACK was unable to avoid the fallen dog and also fell. ARTEMIS LADY also lost ground in the incident. KARAKA ROYALE and ALAMEIN ATTACK were examined by the Vet and KARAKA ROYALE was stood down for10 days with quadricep muscle soreness and ALAMEIN ATTACK was stood down for 7 days with a tensor fascia lata muscle injury.
Race 2	Bill Boyd & Associates - C0 - 457	THRILLING ALEX was the slowest to begin and tailed the field throughout to finish several lengths last. He was to be examined by the Vet but this did not take place and further inquiries will be carried out to ascertain why the dog was not examined.
Race 3	GEON Wellington Sprint - C1 - 375	BIGTIME FORCE ran in from the start and checked FANCY FREDA who dropped back to last but she recovered to run on for 4th place. SEDGEBROOK SKY moved across in the run to the first corner and checked TITAN PRINCE, THRILLING FELIX and BILL THE LAWYER who all lost ground and all chance of a placing.
Race 4	W&E Cavanagh Middle Distance - C1 - 457	WIZARD APPEAL and MIGHTY BIG SAM were disputing 2nd place on the first corner but then collided and WIZARD APPEAL lost two lengths but ran on well to finish in 4th place.
Race 5	Wenham Grain & Seed Sprint - C2 - 375	The favourite DEVILS MARBELS was forced to race wide over extra ground from box 8 but finished well for 2nd place.
Race 6	Applejack Boy Cup Final - C2f - 457	All clear.
Race 7	Porter Hire Palmerston North Sprint - C5 - 375	All clear.
Race 8	Outback Trading Company Ltd - C4/5 - 457	BIGTIME GEM checked over the heels of ALFA DANCER on the first corner and moved out forcing SHIFTY DOONS, NELLY JEAN and SUZY MAC wide over extra ground on the bend.
Race 9	Radio Trackside 828AM Manawatu Six-Pack - C4 - 375	CAWBOURNE WHIZ and LOCHINVAR PRINCE collided when jumping from the boxes and LOCHINVAR PRINCE settled at the rear. He then checked over the heels of CENTRAL RAIDER on the first corner losing further ground and finished in 2nd last place.
Race 10	Grant Irvine Pharmacy Sprint - C3 - 375	HOMEBUSH MARLON was checked on the first corner, went back to last and ran wide over extra ground on the bend and finished in 2nd last place.
