| Race 2 | Matangi Maiden - C0 - 457 | VINTAGE RED was slow away but accelerated quickly into the bend only to be dragged down by WHO NOSE FITZ with both dogs losing their chances. A post race veterinary check of VINTAGE RED revealed no injury. HOT FONZ was badly tightened into the bend losing ground but recovered well to finish second. |
| Race 3 | Tauwhare Stakes - C1 - 457 | LUCK NOW KID ducked out sharply at the jump coming together with THRILLING PETRA. Into the bend GEORDIE BOY was badly tightened and dragged down dropping to the rear with a post race veterinary check revealing no injury. |
| Race 4 | YGOT Bonus Scheme Sprint - C4 - 375 | ANOTHER PRIDE was tightened in the run down the back and dropped to the rear. Into the bend SPY POWERS and BEACH STREET were both held up for room and lost ground. After the race it was noticed that BUT WHY NOT had received a spike wound and this was stitched with a seven day stand down recommended. |

| Race 6 | Interislander Stakes - C2 - 457 | WINSOME BOND received a slight check as THRILLING CAM crossed from an outside draw with THRILLING CATCH also losing ground in this incident |
| Race 7 | New Zealand Racing Series Heats - NZRSq - 457 Heat 7 | WINSOME OPAWA and THRILLING SHOT jostled for a few strides in the back straight. Soon after CYBER BLUE was held up for room losing ground but ran on well when clear for fourth. |
| Race 8 | Protector Safety Stakes - C3/4 - 457 | On the home turn SUPREME BASH checked outwards off CAWBOURNE BELLE with CAWBOURNE GREG receiving a nasty check in behind. These dogs filled the last three placings. SUPREME BASH was subject to a post race veterinary check revealing split webbing with a fourteen day stand down recommended. |
| Race 9 | Raglan Sprint - C3 - 375 | STREET TALL faltered soon after the jump and tailed the field home. A post race veterinary check revealed a torn gracilis with a twenty eight day stand down recommended. Into the bend SCOTT NO WIVES and TOW MATER came together wide on the track while on the home turn AS FAST AS checked outwards off runners losing ground. |
| Race 10 | Superior Chunky Dog Rolls Sprint - C5 - 375 | WILD FLYNN ducked outwards at the jump checking MISS AMY DRY for a stride. Into the bend WITCH JASPER was badly dragged down by WILD FLYNN dropping to the rear with a post race veterinary check revealing no injury. In the home straight KERRIE'S FANTASY contacted the back end of SIMPLY BLESSED for a stride which turned that dog and caused it to lose some momentum. |
| Race 11 | Denis Cole Memorial Sprint Final - C5f - 375 | BRIGHT CONQUEST came together with BUZZ CAFE into the bend and then tightened as NATIONAL DEBT went around his outside dropping to the rear. Soon after TRENDY SON checked outwards off runners losing ground. |
| Race 12 | TAB Pump & Automotive Stakes - C5 - 457 | FANCY MEL was slow away then raced very wide around the bend eventually weakening out to finish last. FANCY SHELLY was tightened into the bend and lost some ground. |
