| Race 1 | Allied Work Force 0800 Labour - C1 - 305 | PURA LADY jumped in from the start and checked THRILLING RANGER who lost ground and settled back in the field. HOMEBUSH BEX moved out on the bend and checked PURA LADY and CAWBOURNE ANN. PURA LADY recovered to win but CAWBOURNE ANN lost several lengths and all chance and finished 6th. BIGTIME MISS may have turned its head slightly for a stride on the home turn but then continued to race hard to the line to finish in 3rd place and no further action was required. |
| Race 2 | Bilderbeck Construction LTD - C1 - 520 | ROUGH ENFORCER was reported to be limping slightly while parading and was examined by the Vet at the start and cleared fit to race. CAPP MANNERING and BIGTIME PAL collided in the run to the first corner and both lost ground. CAPP MANNERING then drifted out on the first bend and finished the race a long last and was examined by the Vet and stood down for 28 days with injuries to flexor tendons above the stopper bone. |
| Race 3 | Broad Roofing Services - C1/2 - 305 | CAB DRIVER ran in from the start and caused checks to HEIST, CAP FANTASTIC, BIGTIME DORA and ROBOTUSSEN and they all lost a little ground. ROBOTUSSEN galloped on the heels of CAB DRIVER on the first corner and they lost ground with CAB DRIVER dropping back onto HEIST who went back to last and he finished in that position. |
| Race 4 | Wanganui Security Services - C1 - 305 | The favourite BIGTIME BAND was in 3rd place on the first corner but was checked and ran wide on the bend over extra ground and finished in 5th place. DRIVING FORWARD and BENBULBEN BEN collided on the first corner losing several lengths and they finished in the last two places. |
| Race 5 | Guthrie Bowron, Wanganui - C3 - 305 | HOMEBUSH MARLON moved across from box 7 in the run to the first corner and caused tightening and checks to CAWBOURNE GREG, CRYSTAL SAL, CRYSTAL VIRUS and SMART SHARMILA who all lost ground. CAWBOURNE GREG and CRYSTAL SAL recovered to finish 2nd and 3rd but CRYSTAL VIRUS and SMART SHARMILA stayed back to finish in the last two places. |
| Race 6 | Keenan Concrete 6 Pack - C2d - 645 | CHILLI NICK and ACCUSER were checked on the bend soon after the start and they both lost ground and settled at the rear. |
| Race 7 | WWW.Wanganuicarcentre.com - C4 - 305 | The favourite CIRALDO was one of the slowest away but then went forward quickly until he collided with JALISCO on the first corner and lost momentum. He then recovered to make up ground for 4th place. JALISCO suffered the most in the incident and went back to last and stayed there to the finish. |
| Race 8 | Harrisons Hire Master - C2/3 - 520 | The favourite LITTLE MOTHER and SMART JOSEPHINE bumped together on the first corner and both lost ground. LITTLE MOTHER recovered and went on to win while SMART JOSEPHINE also made up ground to finish in 5th place. NO DRAMA DON appeared slightly lame after the race and was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury. |
| Race 9 | Crombie Lockwood (NZ) LTD - C5 - 305 | WONGAWILLINEV moved in from the start and checked DA COOLA and SWIFT CONQUEST who lost ground and went back to the rear. DA COOLA was checked again on the bend when racing inside SWIFT CONQUEST and he finished in last place. BRASS KNUCKLES and CAPTAIN BOYCOTT jostled together near the first corner and CAPTAIN BOYCOTT lost ground and finished in 6th place while BRASS KNUCKLES went on to win the race. |
| Race 10 | Media Works - C1/2 - 305 | WINSOME DINITY, UPAHUT ZORRO and BIGTIME SLAMMER were slow to begin and settled at the rear. UPAHUT ZORRO and BIGTIME SLAMMER recovered to finish in 2nd and 3rd places but WINSOME DIGNITY stayed back to finish in last place. SHARIMORE, ANOTHER SAGE and THRILLING COLT jostled together in the race to the first corner and lost a little momentum. |
