Into the bend the leader COT CASE CUTIE ran outwards contacting ZENA'S LADY who also fell with MISTY SHADOW and APACHE MICK losing their chances as a result. Post race veterinary checks were carried out on the fallen runners that revealed no injuries. |
| Race 2 | Graduation Series Heats - NZRSq - 457 Heat 3 | PARANOVA was tightened into the bend losing ground while on the home turn BOTANY HORNET and WHAT A MATE came together when well back in the field. |
| Race 3 | Bounce B Stakes - C0 - 457 | ROYAL RODNEY ran outwards at the jump checking TIJAN who lost ground. UNO JEWEL and OPAWA PARTY came together into the bend. |
| Race 4 | Graduation Series Heats - NZRSq - 457 Heat 2 | ALLEGRINI was badly checked as BOMBER MAN came together with her at the end of the back straight with ALLEGRINI losing many lengths. |

| Race 7 | Stags Smash Steelers - C1 - 390 | FROSTY BLONDE was tightened back on the inside as runners improved around her. She made ground well for fifth. Into the bend HOMEBUSH KALAMA checked outwards off CHOKE losing some ground. |
| Race 8 | Graduation Series Heats - NZRSq - 457 Heat 1 | SEA ADMIRAL attempted to get off the rail into the bend checking VICTORY CHEERS and HO HO PAREORA who both lost ground. VICTORY CHEERS finished last with a post race veterinary check revealing no injury. |
| Race 9 | $26 Muzzles Stakes - C1 - 390 | ASTRO DAVE ran inwards as CAFE CAPRI was attempting to get out with these dogs coming together and losing ground. |
