Judicial report: PRINCE MARCIANO the winner of race two was charged with Marring under the provisions of Rule 80.1 (a) .
it was clear from the video evidence that PRINCE MARCIANO had marred Karn on two occasions in the run home.
The stewards showed trainer Mr.G.A.Lawrence the video of the run home which showed PRINCE MARCIANO turning his head on two occasions in the run home.
Mr Lawrence agreed that his greyhound had turned its head twice in the run home .
The Stewards order that PRINCE MARCIANO be stood down from racing for 28 days (1st offence ) and this greyhound is ordered to carryout one satisfactory trial.

Race 2	Paddy Bond 2008-2009 Middle Distance Award Stakes - C0 - 457	GINGER BISCUIT, BLUE STRATA and FEVER SHIRAZ were the slowest to begin. PRINCE MARCIANO was observed to turn its head and mar the running of KARN on two occasions in the run to the winning post. Under the provisions of Rule 80.1, the Stewards in there opinion ordered that PRINCE MARCIANO was in breach of Rule 80 .1 (a) and this greyhound was stood down for 28 days and ordered to complete a satisfactory trial on one occasion. Papers to be presented to the Stewards for endorsment.
Race 3	Wll She Echo 2008-2009 Stayer Stakes - C0 - 457	THRILLING JAGO and THRILLING ALEX were the slowest to begin. After the start TODD ran inwards and contacted FREE COPY forcing this runner onto SUCH HOPE . SUCH HOPE following this check and finished in last place a post race vet check was carried out on SUCH HOPE and no abnormalities were detected.
Race 4	Bright Conquest 2008-2009 Sprinter Award - C2 - 457	WINSOME SKY and WINSOME JAMES were the slowest to begin. After the start WINSOME JAMES, WINSOME SKY and THRILLING ALERT came together for a few strides.
Race 5	Lois & Peter Henley Strike Rate Trainers Stakes - C1 - 457	PAYNE ZONE and GEORDIE BOY were the slowest to begin. In the run to the first turn both PAYNE ZONE and THRILLING CAM were observed to be jostling.
Race 6	David Schofield Leading Trainer 2008-2009 Stakes - C1 - 457	THRILLING LEO and SANTO GOLD were the slowest to begin. THRILLING AMY ran in after the start, with KARAMU THUNDER running out after the start, ON MY MIND was denied clear racing room and checked in this incident. THRILLING LEO ran wide on the home bend forcing ON MY MIND and SANTO GOLD to race wider on the home bend.
Race 7	Waterloo Cup (Group 1) Heat - C5 - 457	BLACK COUGAR and BOB BAXTER were the slowest to begin. WITCH JASPER and SHIFTY DOONS were observed to be jostling in the run to the first turn .
Race 8	Bright Conquest 2008-2009 Greyhound of the Year Stakes - C4 - 457	RIDDLE MAN and GUNNADO DREAMS were the slowest to begin. WILL SHE ECHO and GUNNADOO DREAMS were observed to come together in the run to the first turn
Race 9	Superior Chunky Dog Rolls Stakes - C2/3 - 457	THRILLING LEE ran in after the start and checked MADDER THAN for a stride. Into the first turn SHARMANS MAGIC, was pushed down onto FANCY EEL , by PAYNEFUL TRUTH and badly checked this runner dropped back sharply and was caught from behind by THRILLING LEE .
Race 10	TAB Pump & Automotive Stakes - C5 - 457	BEILPAJAH PRINCE, TRENDY SON and REWIRED were the slowest to begin.
