Weather: Overcast
Track: Heavy The track presented in a very heavy condition after 34mls of rain overnight uop to 10.00am. Reserve trials were cancelled with only an 8 dog Qualifying Trial only taking place prior to Race 1. The club Curator did not groom the track until Race 7 due to the very wet nature of the surface which improved during the early part of the race program from a south westerly wind. The track was updated to Dead after Race 10 improving throughout the day.
Scales: Correct at 25kgs

Race 1	ADVANCE PET NUTRITION SPRINT - C0 - 295	BOTANY LESSON and GIMME SUM SPEED came together son after the jump. Into the bend THAT'S BIZAAR forced HOTWAX down onto HOMEBUSH NESTOR, both sustained checks and coming back on VAMPIRES SHADOW and TRIPLEM HAND who lost all chance.
Race 2	CHALLENGE OPAWA ALL UP DASH - C0 - 295	PEG'S ANGEL was checked soon after the jump. Into the bend HEAVEN'S BEST was turned sideways by AINT THAT COOL before being struck and dragged down by ROBIN US BLIND. Therse three lost all chance. Both AINT THAT COOL and HEAVEN'S BEST were subject to veterinary checks which revealed nothing amiss with either dog.
Race 3	SUPER PETS STAKES - C0 - 520	MOST HAUNTED ran out soon after the jump coming in contact with MORE PORK and RULEBOOK RAY. Into the bend MORE PORK collided with the running rail bouncing oF MORE PORK ff and coming in contact with RULEBOOK RAY. Into the back straight MORE PORK ran out taking the line of RULEBOOK RAY. MORE PORK was subject to a veterinary check with no injury detected.
Race 4	WWW.DUVAUCHELLEHOTELMOTEL.CO.NZ DASH - C1 - 295	SPIN A TITLE was slow to jump. Into the bend MISS WICKLOW was tightened between FINE FASHION and SPIN A TITLE coming back on DIMITRI'S SECRET and DARK ICE.
Race 5	KOLORFUL KANVAS STAKES - C0 - 520	BOMBAST ran outwards into the first bend colliding with MATAGOURI MO and HOMEBUSH BADGER before BOMBAST ran very wide around the bend.
Race 6	CONAGHANS GOURMET FOODS SPRINT - C1 - 295	HOMEBUSH BEST turned in the boxes losing all chance. Both BREAKING BOND and FANCY WAYS were slow to jump. HOMEBUST BEST was ordered to undertake a box trial in accordance with Rule 72.13.
Race 7	COASTER'S TAVERN STAKES - C1 - 520	The short priced favourite GENISTA BELLE and OZARK'S MASK were tightened into the first bend with OZARK'S MASK the worst affected.
Race 8	WWW.CONTAINERSDIRECT.CO.NZ DASH - C0 - 295	Both NORWOOD JEWEL and DIGITALIS were slow to jump. Soon after the jump ARROW OF ARTEMIS ran outwards checking firstly SORRY VANDERFORD and then DIGITALIS. Around the bend THAT'S SARAH and WHITEY'S WAY came together with THAT'S SARAH running out into the home straight.
Race 9	SHIRLEY VETERINARY CENTRE STAKES - C0 - 520	BOMBAY TRAM lost all chance when very slow to jump. TEEARE FIFTY checked out off the heels of SLENDER CHANCE into the first bend running wide. Around the top bend CALM WAVES was checked when going for a rails run inside the leader losing ground before being struck by an improving ALCATRAZ BOY. CALM WAVES drifted out to finish midfield. TEEARE FIFTY drifted out to finish a distant last. A veterinary check revealed nothing amiss. In accordance with Rule 81.1. the performance of TEEARE FIFTY was deemed unsatisfactory and he was ordered to complete a Satisfactory Trial prior to racing again.
Race 10	'HE WHO MUST BE OBEYED' DASH - C1 - 295	THRILLING BECKY and BOTANY KELLY came together in the run to the bend losing all chance.
Race 11	TUESDAY PLACE PICK SPRINT - C1 - 295	WORDS OF WISDOM drifted after the jump. Into the bend BETTY BEEP was tightened coming back on BOTANY STORY and WORDS OF WISDOM.
Race 12	ANGLER'S ARM TAVERN DASH - C1 - 295	Into the bend an improving SOULJAH BOY tightened ETOILE NOIR who came back on HOMEBUSH KALAMA both losing ground.
Race 13	DAVE ROBBIE PHOTOGRAPHER STAKES - C1 - 520	LINCOLN ZEPHYR was slow to jump. In the run to the first bend TRICKY DAISY tightened HOMEBUSH SHEDAN, BROTHERLY TIES and JOHNNY DUNNIT with HOMEBUSH SHEDAN being dragged down. Soon after BILLYBOB RAY checked out off BIBI DAHL losing ground. HOMEBUSH SHEDAN was subject to a veterinary check which revealed no injury.
Race 14	LAWRENCE & LOCKETT SPRINT - C1 - 295	SURFIN' BIZAAR and ODI JAY were checked soon after the start. Into the bend an improving SURFIN' BIZAAR struck the heels of GUINEAS GIRL before falling outwards into the path of HANMBURGER and HERE'S MAREE NOW who were both badly checked. SURFIN' BIZAAR regained his feet to finish the race. All four dogs were subject to veterinary checks which revealed nothing amiss with all four.
Race 15	PICK 6 LEG 1 SPRINT - C2 - 295	Into the bend CAWBOURNE SHOT checked out off BUICK BERNIE checking KNOW CENTS and KNOW FAITH and forcing HOMEBUSH BURT and MULBERRY KING wide.
Race 16	WILSON'S SPORTS BAR & T.A.B. STAKES - C1 - 520	AMBER DERVISH ran out in the run to the first bend coming in contact with MIXED GRILL before taking the line of WHAT A MATE around the bend.
Race 17	BARRON'S SUPPLIES DISTANCE - C0d - 645	RAMA DING DONG was checked soon after the jump.
Race 18	GEORGE CALVERT CLEANING STAKES - C2 - 520	Into the first bend NORTH INGAILLTAB was forced onto the rail by OPAWA PADLESS bouncing off the rail and colliding with CLEEVE HILL. These three finished at he rear and NORTH INGILLTAB being subject to a veterinary check which revealed nothing amiss.
Race 19	SPEIGHT'S SIX PACK STAKES - C2/3 - 520	HONOUR and WINNER SCHNITZEL jostled in the run to the first bend. HONOUR checked OPAWA SECRET whn improving along that rail around the first bend. They filled the last three placings.
Race 20	GALAXY HEATS THURSDAY NIGHT DASH - C2 - 295	FIRM OFFER was tightened by YAKCAM into the bend. Into the home straight an improving MUNGO collided with YAKCAM losing ground to finish last. A veterinary check revealed a right triceps tear with a 21 day stand down recommended.
