Race 1	The Brownzy Sports Bar Series Heat - C0q - 318 Heat 1	WILLEE WINDSOR and PHYL ME POCKETS were both tightened as POLLY'S PRINCESS ran to the rail soon after the jump. WILLEE WINDSOR made ground for fourth. On the home turn TODD checked outwards off CARIBBEAN EBONY and checked PHYL ME POCKETS with these two runners coming together again shortly after.
Race 2	The Brownzy Sports Bar Series Heat - C0q - 318 Heat 2	GINGER BISCUIT and FLYBY KAHN came together in the early stages and lost ground while wider out ALWAYS A PIRATE was tightened as FLYING WHALE crossed him from the outside. Into the bend TONY'S PEDRO checked off the heels of BLUE BULLET as that runner crossed to the lead with TONY'S PEDRO losing some ground.
Race 3	Thornton Auctions Stakes - C0 - 527	BABY BLUE SKYE ran outwards from an inside box soon after the jump causing general tightening on her outside. This allowed VINTAGE RED who had been slow to jump to obtain a charmed run along the rails and finish well to win.
Race 4	Meadowset Graphics Stakes - C1 - 527	The favourite ZERO RANGER was equal last into the first bend but then appeared to strike the rail on the bend into the back straight and lose momentum. He never appeared to be hitting out well thereafter and finished last with a post race veterinary check revealing a sprain to the right quadricep muscle with a seven day stand down recommended. THRILLING CHASE was subject to a post race veterinary check at the trainer's request and this revealed no injury.
Race 5	The Brownzy Sports Bar Series Heat - C0q - 318 Heat 3	FLYBY EAGLE was handy until the first bend when he was dragged down by SUCH A MYSTERY with these two runners running outwards and coming together with OUR MAC. These three tailed the field home with a post race veterinary check of FLYBY EAGLE revealing no injury.
Race 6	The Brownzy Sports Bar Series Heat - C0q - 318 Heat 4	WHO NOSE FITZ was very slow to jump and then came together with JAYDEN'S COURAGE as he attempted to improve with these two runners filling the last two placings.
Race 7	$20,000 Pick6 Stakes - C2 - 527	DOLLY BREEN was dragged down and turned sideways into the first bend checking BROTHER RABBIT and ROTOVEGAS GIRL with the latter losing all chance. In the back straight DOLLY BREEN clipped the heels of ROTOVEGAS GIRL and fell. She regained her feet and finished the race with a post race veterinary check revealing no injury. Just prior to the home bend REZENDE checked off the back of WHAT SHIRAZ and lost a length.
Race 8	Jack's Wholesale Meats Stakes - C1 - 527	THRILLING LIAM was last to jump and finished last some twenty lengths from the winner with a post race veterinary check revealing a torn tensor fascia lata muscle with a twenty eight day stand down recommended. I'M A FOOL and TONY CAN'T GO came together for a stride soon after the jump while into the first bend I'M A FOOL was tightened and ran outwards checking KARATA ROAD who lost ground.
Race 9	Carol's TABs Sprint - C4 - 318	In a tightly compacted field into the bend JAZZY TOKAAM tried to get to the outside with this checking DREAM A WIN, TERROR JIM and CYCLONE PRESTO all of these runners losing ground.
Race 10	ownagreyhound.co.nz Sprint - C5 - 318	ENSIGN was the last to jump and then forced wide around the bend remaining last throughout.
Race 11	Pacific Sheet & Coil (NZ) Stakes - C3/4 - 527	PAYNEFUL TRUTH stumbled soon after the jump and lost ground remaining well back throughout. DARK FANCY was checked on the first bend and dropped to the rear.
Race 12	Melbourne Cup Day @ Manukau Sprint - C3 - 318	Favourite FORTIS JOURNEY was slow to jump and then came together with SWINGING ZORRO when attempting to improve. SWINGING ZORRO dropped out to the rear with FORTIS JOURNEY making ground for fourth. CONTAGEN was tightened soon after the jump and settled towards the rear.
