Judicial report: Stewards concluded their inquiry into the nomination of LARISSA LYN on 25 August 2009. Trainer Mr GK Calverley was spoke to advisedly by the Stewards in regards to this matter and reminded of his obligations under Rule 111 in regards to the nominating of dogs and notice of Change of Trainer. Trainer Mr NA Clark was warned under Rule 88.1.x. after the Starter reported that Mr Clark struck the lids after boxing his runner. Mr Clark acknowledged that he had struck the boxes as reported and advised that this would not happen again.

Race 1	Lectro Hair & Beauty Sprint - C1 - 318	DOLLY CYRUS, THRILLING LIAM and HOT LIKE ME were all slow to jump. In the run to the bend DOLLY CYRUS ran to the inside and appeared to flick the rail before coming together with THRILLING LIAM with both dogs dropping to the rear. A post race veterinary check of DOLLY CYRUS revealed no injury.
Race 2	Jack's Wholesale Meats Stakes - C0 - 527	THRILLING EAGLE was last to jump running on late for fourth. WILLIE WINDSOR ran outwards into the first bend tightening BABY BLUE SKYE and TAWHIRI who both lost ground.
Race 3	Melbourne Cup Day @ Manukau Sprint - C2 - 318	All clear.
Race 4	Deli's Sports Bar Stakes - C2 - 527	This race was delayed by two minutes at the request of Raceday Control. MADDER THAN was checked on the first bend dropping to the rear while LAGOON FIFI was shunted wide and lost ground soon after. There was no head on view available for this race.
Race 5	Thornton Auctions Stakes - C1 - 527	THRILLING MOSS ran inwards from his outside draw racing to the first bend and this together with THRILLING PETRA angling outwards caused ON MY MIND to be badly checked and nearly fall. CAWBOURNE SNOWY in behind was also badly inconvenienced in this incident with these dogs racing at the rear thereafter.
Race 6	Rodewald Hart Brown Sprint - C4 - 318	BOKARM ELLIE, DREAM A WIN and MISS BRUGGE all came together into the bend and lost ground. Meanwhile HOMEBUSH MARLON struck the rail on two occasions and dropped out with a post race veterinary check revealing bruising and cuts with a five day stand down recommended.
Race 7	$15,000 Pick6 Stakes - C1 - 527	GEORDIE BOY and SNOWIE SECRET were both very slow away from the traps and remained back throughout.
Race 8	The Brownzy Sports Bar Stakes - C4/5 - 527	STICKY BOY checked outwards off runners on the first bend and badly checked SHOWTIME LEO with both runners losing ground. STICKY BOY did remarkably well to run into third placing.
Race 9	Carol's TABs Stakes - C2 - 527	ROTOVEGAS GIRL ran inwards soon after the jump tightening ATOMIC CLAIM, MOONSHINE LASS and BROTHER RABBIT. At the first bend MOST EXCUSED was forced against the rail and lost ground. Into the back straight BROTHER RABBIT checked outwards with ATOMIC CLAIM receiving a bump and soon after these two dogs were again checked and lost more ground. Post race veterinary checks were carried out on MOST EXCUSED and ATOMIC CLAIM that revealed no injuries.
Race 10	The Alamo Bar & TAB Stakes - C3 - 527	CAWBOURNE WILKO and RIDDLE MAN were both slow from outside draws and RIDDLE MAN received a slight check at the entrance to the back straight dropping to the rear. He ran on late for fifth.
Race 11	Terry Ryan Timber Sprint - C5 - 318	WINSOME NOVA was slow from the inside and never got into contention thereafter. Soon after the jump ARCTIC ROMEO faltered and tailed off some distance from the field. A post race veterinary check revealed a gracilis distal tear with a forty two day stand down recommended.
Race 12	Meadowset Graphics Sprint - C3 - 318	CLEAR CONQUEST was tightened into the bend and brushed the rail losing ground. A post race veterinary check revealed a dislocated toe with a twenty eight day stand down recommended.
