| Race 1 | Allied Work Force 0800 Labour Heat 1 - C0q - 305 Heat 1 | KARAKA ROYALE and SHOWTIME ADDIS were handy to the lead on the first corner but then SHOWTIME ADDIS galloped on the back of KARAKA ROYALE and they checked and went quickly back through the field to the rear and stayed there to the finish. |
| Race 2 | Guthrie Bowron,Wanganui - C0 - 520 | SNOWIE SECRET and COMET PRINCESS were both slow to begin and settled at the rear and they then made up some ground and finished in mid field. GREAT AUNTY MIN was observed to be making ground on the leader and eventual winner BIGTIME SURVIVOR in the home straight but then moved in and marred that runner and finished in 2nd place. GREAT AUNTY MIN was stood down for 28 days under Rule 80.1 a and is required to complete a satisfactory trial. |
| Race 3 | Mickey's Super Liquor Heat 2 - C0q - 305 Heat 2 | GINGER BISCUIT was very slow to begin and tailed the field throughout to finish in last place. THRILLING ROBYN and TYPHOON PETE were handy enough on the first corner but were checked losing all chance. |
| Race 4 | Wanganui Farm Supplies Heat 3 - C0q - 305 Heat 3 | PARNELL MIST was slow to begin and lost three lengths. ITERU RA moved in from the start and checked DOLLY CYRUS and FLYBY EAGLE. Tightening on the first corner resulted in checks to PEGSONE, THRILLING BRYN, THRILLING BUSTA, DOLLY CYRUS and FLYBY EAGLE who all lost varying amounts of ground. |
| Race 5 | Broad Roofing Services - C1 - 305 | THRILLING MIX moved in racing to the first corner and caused jostling and checks to PSYCHOTIC and RISING GAS who dropped out to the rear and never recovered. JASON BOURNE was checked on the bend and went back to last and finished in that position. |
| Race 6 | Kennan Concrete Services - C1 - 520 | STARFIRE BOY began awkwardly and bumped with CRYSTAL BANNER and they settled at the rear. STARFIRE BOY then improved through the field and went on to win. CRYSTAL BANNER and CHAMSIN CREEK collided on the first corner and then raced wide over extra ground on the first bend and they finished in the last two places. |
| Race 7 | Morrie Gibbons Signs - C1 - 305 | LUCK NOW JENNI was jostled for several strides in the run to the first corner as THRILLING SIMONE moved in. STILL NO TRACK then galloped on LUCK NOW JENNI and dragged that runner down and STILL NO TRACK also lost ground in the incident. Soon after, HOMEBUSH CHARLI was checked and fell and KYLASI was also checked in the incident and lost several lengths and all chance. LUCK NOW JENNI and HOMEBUSH CHARLI were examined by the Vet and cleared of injury. |

THRILLING BENNY moved out on the first corner and caused checks to PLAIN ARIAL and THRILLING TASHA and they never recovered and finished in the last three places. |
