Judicial report: Trainers N.Clark and J.Woolston Bell were issued with a first and final warning in relation to the use of cell phones on the track when they were both observed to be using a phone when walking back after carrying out their duties as handlers at the start of a race. While they were not involved in handling at the time they were observed, they were advised that cell phone use was prohibited at all times when on the racing track.

Race 1	Pain Security Services Middle Distance Maiden - C0 - 457	CRYSTAL KATIE, COMET PRINCESS, JOE BANNER and BOSTON JAZZ were all slow to begin losing three lengths. They all made up ground with COMET PRINCESS, who covered extra ground out wide on the bend, running on well for 3rd place.
Race 2	INTERISLANDER Sprint - C1 - 375	HOMEBUSH HANNAH ran in from the start and checked WINSOME BOND who stumbled and lost several lengths but recovered well to finish in 2nd place. JACK JELLYBEANS and KIWI GEORGE who were disputing the lead, bumped together on the bend and both lost ground and dropped back to finiish back in the field. KIWI GEORGE was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury but possibly suffered from cramp. LIFE BECKONS was also checked in the incident and again in the home straight and finished in 6th place.
Race 3	Total Irrigation Ltd Sprint - C1 - 375	HOMEBUSH CHARLI ran in from the start and caused checks to TUI THUNDER and then soon after to the favourite FARMOR JAZIL and they both lost ground and went back to the rear and could not make up the lost ground finishing in 6th and 7th places.
Race 4	Wenham Grain & Seed Sprint - C1 - 375	TAKE COVER began to drift back from half way around the bend and finished several lengths last but it was observed that he had not raced for six months.
Race 5	Quality Presentations Ltd - C4 - 375	CAWBOURNE FELLA was checked back to the rear when tightened in the run to the first corner. Soon after, THRILLING ALI and LOCHINVAR PRINCE bumped together and they lost ground and those three runners never recovered and finished in the last three places.
Race 6	New Zealand Racing Series FINAL - NZRS - 457	THRILLING SHOT was bumped early in the race and lost ground. On the first corner, CRAFTY CLEEVE, THRILLING ALERT and THRILLING SHOT came together and were severely checked with THRILLING SHOT the most affected and he finished in last place with the other two not far ahead.
Race 7	Grant Irvine Pharmacy Sprint - C5 - 375	SHE ROCKS galloped on the heels of SINGAPORE WILLY on the first corner and they lost several lengths and all chance and they stayed back to finish in the rear group.
Race 8	Outback Trading Company Ltd - C5 - 457	NELLY JEAN moved out on the first corner and caused a severe check to FANCY SHELLY who almost fell and she lost several lengths and she finished in last place. FANCY MEL was checked soon after the start and lost a little ground.
Race 9	Trophy Specialists & Engraving Ltd - C2 - 375	ANOTHER NICK jumped on terms with the other runners but was checked soon after went back to last but he recovered to make up ground for 3rd placing. ROTOVEGAS GIRL was also checked soon after the start and lost a little ground. EVAMORE was handy to the lead on the first corner but was checked and went back to last and stayed there to the finish.
