Race 1	Allied Work Force 0800 Labour - C0 - 305	BOSTOM JAZZ went up with the box lids losing several lengths and he tailed the field throughout and finished in last place. IN TENT and the eventual winner BIGTIME FORCE disputed the lead from the start but appeared to brush together on the bend and IN TENT dropped back and checked over the heels of BIGTIME FORCE losing four lengths and he finished in 4th place.
Race 2	GEON Wellington - C0 - 520	COMET PRINCESS and JOE BANNER were slow to begin and settled at the rear. Due to a misunderstanding, I Moore failed to catch GREAT AUNTY MIN but after hearing the explanation, no charge was preferred.
Race 3	Mickeys Super Liquor - C0 - 305	SUCH A MYSTERY stumbled from the boxes losing several lengths and all chance and he finished some distance behind the other runners. ALAMEIN ATTACK was also a`little slow away and finished in 2nd last place. The favourite THRILLING ROBYN also began a little awkwardly and settled back in the field and then ran wide on the bend and finished in 5th place.
Race 4	Wanganui Farm Supplies - C1q - 520 Heat 1	The organized Handler for MAIELLA LAD A Peterson was too late to catch the dog and as he is new to the area, he was reminded of his obligations but no charge was preferred. MAIELLA LAD was bumped a couple of times in the run to the first corner and then THRILLING TYSON moved out on the first bend and forced MAIELLA LAD and WHAT WAYS HOME wide and all three lost several lengths and they stayed back to finish in the last three places.
Race 5	Guthrie Bowron, Wanganui - C1 - 305	The favourite CIRALDO was the slowest away but recovered quickly to be in the lead on the first corner and went on to win with ease. BACK AT YA ran out from the start and made contact with ROUGH ENFORCER near the first corner. BACK AT YA continued to race a little wide and drifted back to finish in last place.
Race 6	Keenan Concrete 6 Pack - C1q - 520 Heat 2	The favourite TRICKY LES was slow to begin losing three lengths but made up ground to be back in contention entering the back straight. He then ran wide in the back straight and drifted out to finish in last place. TRICKY LES was examined by the Vet and was stood down for 7 days with a shoulder muscle strain. THRILLING FEVER was observed to be bleeding from a spike wound after the race and was also examined by the Vet and stood down for 5 days.
Race 7	Morrie Gibbons Signs - C2f - 305	SPIN CYCLE and LADY PEDRO were checked back to the rear when tightened on the first corner and they never recovered and finished at the rear.
Race 8	Peter Sinclair Photos - C1q - 520 Heat 3	ACCUSER ran in from the start and checked LISA SHIRAZ, CYCLONE TRAVIS and VIOLET JAZZ and they settled back in the field and finished in the rear group.
Race 9	Gary Ross Decorator - C1 - 305	THRILLING BLADE was slow to begin but recovered to finish in 4th place. CATCH THE BREEZE moved out on the bend and jostled with BIGTIME UNIQUE and BILLY WHIZ for a few strides. BILLY WHIZ recovered to finish in 3rd place but CATCH THE BREEZE and BIGTIME UNIQUE stayed back to finish at the rear.
Race 10	www.wanganuicarcentre.com - C1 - 305	LEFT JAB was checked and lost ground in the run to the first corner. Soon after, CAPTAIN CARLOS and HOMEBUSH HANNAH were also checked and lost ground and then UPAHUT WITCH received a severe check and went back causing checks to LEFT JAB and CAWBOURNE DI. UPAHUT WITCH finished in last place and was examined by the Vet as a precaution and cleared of injury.
