Race 1	Added Energy Welcome - C0 - 390	From the jump BLUE RAGE ran inwards and checked the running of MORE PORK and NORWOOD JEWEL. On the turn MITZY'S ENFORCER ran outwards and forced THAT'S BIZAAR wide on the track.
Race 2	$26 Five Wire Muzzle Stakes - C0 - 457	MOANING MOANY missed the jump by several lengths and never recovered to finish in seventh place. Into the turn SPEED TICKET crossed over from the outside draw and came into contact with OPAWA BROOKE before checking off the rear of HOMRBUSH OSO and losing ground.
Race 3	Brendon Burke@Southern Wide - C1 - 457	From the jump BOTANY HORNET ran inwards and checked the favourite ROYAL RODNEY who stumbled and lost ground to finish at the rear of the field. Into the turn OLD MATE DAVE ran outwards and checked the running of HOMEBUSH SHERIDAN with both dogs finishing well back in the field.
Race 4	Osborn Engineering, Bluff - C0 - 390	ZENA'S LADY and CROSSFIRE MAX came together twice in the run to the turn, both losing momentum.On the turn MOANY'S RAILER ran outwards and forced TRIPLEM HAND and SURFIN' BIZAAR wide on the track with all three dogs finishing towards the rear.
Race 5	S.R. Double D Syndicate - C1/2 - 390	Into the home straight FIRM OFFER ran inwards and checked the running of CAWBOURNE FREDDY who lost ground to finish well back in the field.
Race 6	www.southlandgreyhounds.co.nz - C1 - 390	From the jump HOMEBUSH DUSTY ran inwards and checked BREAKING DREAMS who was again checked into the turn and forced wide on the track finishing well back. Into the turn FROSTY BLONDE checked off the rear of VERONICA and lost ground as the field tightened, but ran on in the home straight for third.
Race 7	Stamina Plus Powder Mix - C1 - 457	BEEJAY'S MATE ran inwards from the jump and checked MIXED GRILL, BROTHERLY TIES and DEVOTCHKA with these three dogs losing all chances to finish at the rear. BROTHERLY TIES finished well back and was subject to a veterinary check which revealed nothing amiss.
Race 8	Ascot Park Hotel - C2 - 457	SEA ADMIRAL was very slow to jump and lost ground but ran on in the straight for fifth.
Race 9	$25 Yard Muzzle Stakes - C1 - 390	HO HO PAREORA was slow to jump. INDIANA GIRL ran outwards after the jump checking LESTER and did so again into the bend both losing ground. Soon after HORSE POWER and HO HO PAREORA came together. Turning for home INDIANA GIRL and HORSE POWER came together.
Race 10	Bounce B Powder - C1 - 457	BOTANY TOM turned in the boxes losing at least 10 lengths. WOOF INGILLTAB and LINCOLN ZEPHYR came together into the bend both losing ground. Around the bend WOOF INGILLTAB struck the heels of MEANDER both losing all chance.BOTANY TOM was ordered to undertake a box trial in accordance with Rule 72.13.
Race 11	Frog N' Firkin - C3 - 390	DOUGSTAR JAKE had his right paw hard up against the bottom of the grille and went up with the lids and jumped awkwardly. Then into the turn DOUGSTAR JAKE clipped the heels of MARLENE'S BABE and lost ground to finish towards the rear. CHESTNUT and MARLENE"S BABE were tightened from the jump when CAWBOURNE CLICK ran inwards.
Race 12	Graduation Series Final - NZRSf - 457	Into the bend an improving APATCHE JET tightened HOMEBUSH REECE and DELUSIONIST when vying for the lead. All three lost ground with DELUSIONIST hitting the hindquarters of HOMEBUSH REECE and falling. APATCHE JET came back on CLEEVE HILL who checked outwards dragging down APATCHE JET with both losing all chance. DELUSIONIST regained her feet to finish the event with a veterinary check revealing pain in the right hock with a 7 dy stand down recommended.
Race 13	Kelvin Hotel - C0 - 457	JAZZY SHIRAZ, OPAWA GEM and HOMEBUSH WARRIOR came together soon after the jump and finished back in the field.
Race 14	Southern Floor Care Ltd - C5 - 457	SLICK RICK and CRAFTY CLEEVE came together in the run to the bend losing ground. Soon after SLICK RICK clipped he heels of KNOW SPIRIT who lost ground. Approaching the turn ZITZ GRACE turned WINSOME MERC sideways when they came together. SLICK RICK was the subject of a veterinary check which revealed a right hind 3rd digit metatarsal injury with a 28 day stand down recommended.
Race 15	You Can Do It STAGS - C5 - 390	HOMEBUSH LENNY and BIONIC DREAM came together into the bend both losing ground with CONTINUE forced wide as a result. Into the home straight HOMEBUSH LENNY strucks the heels on REWIND HISTORY.
