Judicial report: An inquiry was opened and adjourned to allow time for witness interviews after an allegation that a Trainer had used offensive language.

Race 1	Allied Work Force 0800 Labour - C1 - 305	ROUGH ENFORCER was disputing the lead on the first corner but then brushed together with HERE IN SPIRIT, went off stride and dropped out to last and finished in that position. ROUGH ENFORCER was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury.
Race 2	Bilderbeck Construction - C1 - 305	THRILLING IRIS moved out on the home turn and bumped MAGNIFICENT who lost ground and finished in last place.
Race 3	Broad Roofing Services - C2/3 - 305	BIGTIME ROYALE was a late scratching when found to be lame when removed from the kennels 15 minutes before start time. GOOGLE MAGOO was slow to begin losing three lengths. She was able to make up some ground to finish in 6th place.
Race 4	Wanganui Security Services - C1/2 - 520	CAWBOURNE SPEED was up 2.3 kilograms from its last start weight 6 weeks previous and when questioned, the Handler stated that they were happy with the increase and this was accepted. It was observed that the dog was down 1.1 kilograms at its last start. BOLTS BOLTED was away well and handy to the first corner but he was then checked when LADY PEDRO moved out slightly. BOLTS BOLTED dropped back into the line of RIALTO ROSE who also moved out and causing jostling to HOMEBUSH NICK and TAILS OFF.
Race 5	Guthrie Bowron,Wanganui - C4 - 305	TIGGERLONG FURY and JOSHIE'S GIRL were slow to begin losing three lengths. CAPTAIN BOYCOTT checked off the heels of CHINESE GIRL when starting on the bend but recovered to finish in 2nd place. STAR CONQUEST was also checked at that point losing several lengths and he stayed back to finish in 2nd last place.
Race 6	KEENAN CONCRETE 6 PACK - C1 - 520	LISA SHIRAZ began very awkwardly losing several lengths and he stayed well back throughout and finished in 2nd last place. One of the favourites TRICKY LES was also a little slow to begin but then made up ground until checked twice on the last bend and he dropped out to finish in last place. TRICKY LES was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury.
Race 7	www.wanganuicarcentre.com - C5 - 305	CAWBOURNE DORE, JALISCO and POLSKA were all checked on the first corner losing all chance and they finished in the last three places. POLSKA suffered a spike wound in the incident and was stood down for 14 days.
Race 8	Harrison Hire Master - C3 - 520	The 2nd placed dog DESTINE TO EXCEL had to check over the heels of the eventual winner MYA FLYER on the home turn and lost momentum and possibly the chance of winning the race.
Race 9	Crombie Lockwood(nz) Ltd - C5 - 305	LEUMEAH MISS was first away from the boxes but became tightly placed between WONGAWILLINEV and SET IN STONE on the first corner losing a little ground and was then galloped on by RUN JAKE RUN and both dogs lost several lengths and finished in the last two places.
Race 10	Media Works - C2/3 - 305	HOMEBUSH MARLON jumped well but was checked soon after and lost four lengths. He then made up ground well and secured a rails run to finish in 3rd place.
