| Race 1 | Allied Work Force 0800 Labour - C0 - 305 | Soon after the start STILL NO TRACK and METROPOL came together for a couple of strides As the field raced down to the first turn STILL NO TRACK got up on the heels of METROPOL who was in the lead causing her to lose some ground As METROPOL went back through the field on the top bend she was bumped by KARAKA ROYALE and HEY GHANDI and was observed to be galloping uncomfortably and dropped out to the rear and was in last position at the finish. METROPOL was sent for a vet check and cleared of injury. |
| Race 2 | GEON Wellington - C1 - 520 | PURE FURY was slow to begin and settled well back. PURE FURY, IN THE BIN and THRILLING FEVER were checked on the first corner losing several lengths. THRILLING FEVER and PURE FURY recovered to make up ground for 4th and 5th places but IN THE BIN stayed back to finish in last place. |
| Race 3 | Mickeys Super Liquor - C0 - 305 | BOSTON JAZZ moved out on the first corner and caused checks to IRISH ENFORCER, TYPHOON PETE, ALAMEIN ATTACK and PEGSONE and they lost several lengths and all chance. |
| Race 4 | Wanganui Farm Supplies - C2q - 305 Heat 1 | The well supported ELLABILLE ANGEL was slow to begin and settled well back but made up some ground for 5th placing.THRILLING TURK and ZETA JONES bumped together when jumping from the boxes and both lost a little ground. |
| Race 5 | Gary Ross Decorator - C2q - 305 Heat 2 | CRYSTAL VIRUS ran in from the start and crowded CAWBOURNE OPAL, MAD DECISION and BACK DRAUGHT for a few strides and they lost ground. HOMEBUSH EMMA was checked and went back a couple of places on the first corner and was then awkwardly placed inside CRYSTAL VIRUS on the home turn and lost ground again. |

| Race 7 | Guthrie Bowron, Wanganui - C2q - 305 Heat 3 | BIGTIME COOL ran in from the start and checked THRILLING ZING, HOMEBUSH JAZZ and THRILLING TOD with THRILLING TOD and HOMEBUSH JAZZ being the most affected and they finished in the last two places. |
| Race 8 | Morrie Gibbons Signs - C1 - 520 | KNOW FRIENDS was checked entering the back straight and dropped back onto HOBSON'S LAW and they lost several lengths and finished in the last two places. |
| Race 9 | Broad Roofing Services - C1 - 305 | BACK AT YA ran out from box 3 at the start and she stayed wide running the bend and covered extra ground and finished in 5th place. |
| Race 10 | www.wanganuicarcentre - C1 - 305 | SCOTT NO WIVES ran in from the start and checked PURA LADY who lost four lengths. PURA LADY then ran in on the first corner and made contact with the rail and lost further ground. She was examined by the Vet and stood down for 7 days with pain over a shoulder muscle. |
