Weather: OvercastTrack: Good The track had been drenched through the week but held up well. The lure was changed after Race 1 after a loss of power was reported. The replacement lure worked perfectly for the remainder of the night.
Scales: Correct at all weights.

Race 1 | Welcome to Cambridge Raceway Sprint - C4 - 375 | PICCADILLY LINE and TERROR JIM came together in the run to the bend when racing midfield. |
Race 2 | Tamahere Stakes - C2 - 457 | PAYNEFUL TRUTH was slow away but ran on well for its third placing. Into the bend BETTYSUE BALE received a slight check and dropped to the rear. |
Race 3 | Raglan Sprint - C5 - 375 | LAURETANA BOY was tightened along the inside into the bend and lost ground. SYDENHAM SMITH ran inwards on to WINSOME JESS on the bend and soon after came together with CAWBOURNE RAY for a stride. |
Race 4 | YGOT Bonus Scheme Stakes - C4 - 457 | YAMBLA JACK was tightened and appeared to hit the rail into the bend losing ground and finishing at the rear. A post race veterinary check revealed no injury. Following the race WILL SHE ECHO was inspected by the veterinarian and found to have a haematoma on her right hind foot with a seven day stand down recommended. |
Race 5 | Superior Chunky Dog Rolls Sprint - C5 - 375 | PRIVATE PEDRO was a touch slow then was held up between runners into the bend. On the home turn PRIVATE PEDRO appeared to clip the back leg of NATASHA'S DUFFER who dropped out to last with a post race veterinary check revealing no injury. |
Race 6 | Protector Safety Stakes - C4/5 - 457 | SLINGBACK was tightened into the bend with FANCY BEAR also losing ground at this point. |
Race 7 | Interislander Stakes - C3 - 457 | CAWBOURNE SERENE and TEE SHIRT jostled for some distance in the back straight with both dogs losing ground. Into the bend TEE SHIRT was dragged down by THRILLING CATCH with these runners dropping to the rear. A post race veterinary check of TEE SHIRT revealed no injury. |
Race 8 | TAB Pump & Automotive Stakes - C4/5 - 457 | PADDY BOND, CAWBOURNE ACE and SPRING ADMIRAL all came together into the bend dropping to the rear. SPRING ADMIRAL made ground late for a closing fifth. |
