Health and Safety comment:

Judicial report: The inquiry opened and adjoiurned on 9 August 2009 in respect of JULINSKY (DL Roberts) under Rule 43.7 was reconvened. Inquiries had established that the GRNZ computer had not updated at the time of nominating JULINSKY for this meeting resulting in an incorrect nomination. As a result the charge was dismissed.

Race 1	Added Energy Welcome - C0 - 390	DAIMLER DAVE turned in the boxes losing all chance to trail the field home. BOTANY ANN was slow to jump.
Race 2	Brendon Burke @ Southern Wide - C0 - 390	SPIN A TITLE was slow to jump. Into the bend ASTRO DAVE, UNO JEWEL and GOZO DANCER came together losing ground. Soon after BOTANY HENRY moved outwards and collided with BIG MOMMA JEAN. Into the straight PEG'S ANGEL was tightened by GOZO DANCER checking outwards before being turned sideways when struck by BOTANY HENRY. PEG'S ANGEL was subject to a veterinary check which mild right hock pain with a 10 day stand down recommended.
Race 3	$26 Five Wire Muzzle Stakes - C1 - 457	In the run to the bend BOTANY HORNET dragged LINCOLN ZEPHYR down with both losing ground. LINCOLN ZEPHYR was the subject of a veterinary check which revealed minor lacerations with no stand down recommended. WEE SHADOW and HONOUR came together soon after with HONOUR losing ground. MALROY who ran to the lead into the bend appeared to change his stride approaching the home straight. Trainer RS HAMILTON was shown the race film and advised that Stewards would closing monitor his future race performances.
Race 4	S.R. Double D Syndicate - C2 - 390	HAILSTONE HERB drifted to the rear after the jump. Into the bend HAILSTONE HERB ran outwards checking GENTLE ANNIE. PARANOVA drifted out to a clear last into the bend. She was subject to a veterinary check which revealed nothing amiss.
Race 5	$25 Yard Muzzles Stakes - C1 - 390	Soon after the jump LIAM TITLE and LEO'S BOY came together coming back on BOY BUGLER which FIVE KAY KAT being forced wide. Into the bend JUST POPPY was tightened between LIAM TITLE and JEALOUS GLANCE drifting quickly through the field.
Race 6	Bounce B Powder - C0 - 457	All clear.
Race 7	Ascot Park Hotel - C2 - 457	WHT A MATE was slow to jump settling last.
Race 8	Stamina Plus Powder Mix - C3/4 - 390	On jumping WILLY BOLT ran in as LITTLE MARVEL ran out with ROCKA HULA and KARL BAXTER being tightened and checked along with WILLY BOLT. Around the bend LITTLE MARVEL ran out impeding TALENT CITY.
Race 9	Kelvin Hotel - C1 - 390	ODI JAY drifted to last after jumping. Into the bend CAWBOURNE RYE and TEE CEE came together losing ground.Around the bend YAKCAM checked out off HORSE POWER.
Race 10	Southern Floor Care Ltd - C1 - 457	GREAT KAY'S drifted to the rear settling a clear last. TRICKY DAISY settled last on jumping and into the bend when improving checked PALEFACE SHADOW who lost all chance. TRICKY DAISY lost momemtum for a stride or two before running on late. PALEFACE SHADOW was subject to a veterinary check which revealed right fore metacarpal strain with a 10 day stand down recommended.
Race 11	www.southlandgreyhounds.co.nz - C0 - 457	ROYAL RODNEY who was handy early ran wide around the bend losing ground.
Race 12	Frog N' Firkin - C1 - 390	BUICK BERNIE jumped awkwardly from the boxes settling last. FANCY WAYS drifted to the rear after the jump. Into the bend OZARK'S MASK, CAWBOURNE SCAREY and VERONICA came together losing ground.
Race 13	Osborn Engineering, Bluff - C3/4 - 457	OH OTIS jumped awkwardly from the boxes losing all chance. Into the bend LAGER IN PARIS was tightened between TEDDY NOVA and HARBOUR BALE coming back on CLEEVE HILL and FLYING ASPEN, all three losing ground.
Race 14	Lonestar Cafe and Bar - C4/5 - 457	After an even dispatch CHILE TART was tightened between dogs into the bend with SMASH McCOY easing off heels and losing momentum.
Race 15	Go The Stags - C5 - 390	TONY KNOWS and ANOTHER MANGLES were tightened by GROOVE ARMADA into the bend with ANOTHER MANGLES checking out and forcing KNOW NEED out onto SINGAPORE WILLY, both losing momentum. Around the bend BILLY RUBIN checked out off the heels on ANOTHER MANGLES.
