Into the turn BOTANY LESSON checked off the rear of BUICK BERNIE who went back on COOL TART who was forced outwards and pushed PINTA GUINNESS and LESTER wide on the track. |
| Race 2 | Forbury Maiden Sprint - C0 - 310 | From the jump CAWBOURNE CART ran inwards and checked ASTRO DAVE with both dogs losing ground but recovering to finish in the minor placings. |
| Race 3 | Paws Inn Boarding Kennel Stakes - C0 - 545 | On the first turn ROYAL RODNEY checked off OPAWA DEBB and lost ground while UNDER COVER, OUR MAC and OZARK'S GEM ran wide on the track with all four dogs finishing at the rear of the field. |

| Race 5 | President's Stakes - C0 - 545 | Into the first turn GRANT A STAR moved outwards and struck the rear of BOTANY TOM who went down on his rear with both dogs losing all chances to finish towards the rear along with OZARK'S COVER who was forced wide as a result of the skirmish. BOTANY TOM was subject to a post race veterinary check which revealed tenderness with no stand down recommended. |

| Race 8 | Speedprint Shop Stakes - C1 - 545 | From the jump BILLYBOB RAY ducked inwards and checked the running of GREAT KAY'S with both dogs losing ground to finish at the rear. |
| Race 9 | Green Island Barber Shop Sprint - C1 - 310 | In the run to the turn when racing near the lead BARBER'S GIRL checked stride and went back through the field to finish a distant last. BARBER'S GIRL was subject to a veterinary check which showed the dog had cramped up but no stand down was recommended. |
| Race 10 | Brocklebank Dry Cleaners Sprint - C1 - 310 | In the run to the turn CAWBOURNE MADGE moved outwards and severely chhecked the running of JUST POPPY who went back to the rear and never recovered. |

WATUSI ASSASSIN regained her feet to finish the race. Into the turn REMUS shortened stride and lost ground to finish a distant last. WATUSI ASSASSIN and REMUS were subject to veterinary checks. REMUS appeared to have suffered cramping with no stand down recommended. WATUSI ASSASSIN was found without injury. |
