Into the bend CRUISE TO CAPRI drove down towards the rail checking the balance of the field, TUNZA REVS being the worst affected. He was subject to a veterinary check which revealed no injury. |
| Race 2 | Challenge Opawa All Up Sprint - C0 - 295 | SPIN A TITLE was slow to jump. CAWBOURNE SCAREY ran in after the jump checking JUST ABBEY and WHITEY'S WAY who both lost ground. Into the bend JUST ABBEY clipped the rear of BOTANY NORMA losing ground. Soon after TWIRLY BERLY struck the heels of STICK'S TOO with TWIRLY BERLY losing momentum. |

| Race 4 | Shirley Veterinary Centre Stakes - C1 - 520 | WHAT A MATE was slow from the boxes. BILLYBOB RAY and FIRM OFFER were tightened into the first bend. Soon after BURN DOWN ROAD was tightened by SKY VANE and checked outwards to collide heavily with AMBER DERVISH. |
| Race 5 | Jean & Dave Fahey Sprint - C1 - 295 | NEED A NURSE was slow from the boxes but improved quickly along the rail before being tightened by SILENT STRYKER, forcing THRILLING RILEY on to the rail. Soon after SPIN CYCLE was struck by TOKEN RAGE as she moved outwards. THRILLING JAZZ was subject to a veterinary check which revealed no injury. |
| Race 6 | Casswood Rugs Stakes - C1 - 520 | TWO TICK JESSIE eased between dogs into the first bend before colliding with HOMEBUSH SHEDAN further around the bend both losing ground. Co trainer MJ HILL was shown the race film and advised that Stewards would monitor the dogs future race performances. |
| Race 7 | Kevin Lawrence & Stephen Lockett Dash - C1 - 295 | TURBO PRINCE ran outwards after the jump checking LEO'S BOY. Into the bend SUPER STORM checked out off SINBINNED resulting in FURMINATOR moving out off DANCE FOR DANCE with checks to KNOW TROUBLE and TURBO PRINCE. |
| Race 8 | www.containersdirect.co.nz stakes - C1 - 520 | KNOW GLORY was a late scratching when found to be in season when removed from her kennel for race preparation. KNOCK 'EM DOWN was tightened by REDBANK RUBY in the run to the first bend before colliding with THRILLING POLAR soon after. Into the back straight FIVE KAY KAT moved away from the rail colliding heavily with WITH A RHYTHM who dropped out to finish near the rearr. A veterinary check revealed nothing amiss. |
| Race 9 | Command Kennels Dash - C1 - 295 | The favourite MISSYS DAUGHTER came up with the lids settling last. When improving into the bend she checked out off HORSE POWER colliding with BY GORRIE DORRIE forcing that dog wide on the track. SHAZZ'S SAINT drifted out to finish last and was subject to a veterinary check which revealed a torn right gracilus insertion with a 28 day stand down recommended. |
| Race 10 | Scaffold Direct Sprint - C0 - 295 | COOL TART stood in the boxes missing the start by 8 lengths. CAWBOURNE CART ran in after the jump checking ARCHILLES and TUKURUA COLT. MAMBO drifted to the rear in the run to the bend. ROYAL ADONIS was tightened by CAWBOURNE CART around the bend losing ground. |
| Race 11 | I Pave Concrete Tuesday Place Pick - C2 - 295 | MULBERRY MADAM was checked soon after the jump. SOULJA STORM and COREYS COMET were tightened in the run to the bend with SOULJA STORM puling up and not finishing the race. BLACK MUSKAT and ANOTHER KERRY came together around the bend losing ground. SOULJA STORM was subject to a veterinary examinatuion which revealed no sign of injury. It was the opinion of Stewards that SOULJA STORM ( A POUTAMA) had failed to pursue the lure, a breach of Rule 80.1.b., and as this was his second offence SOULJA STORM was stood down for a period of 3 months and ordered to undertake a Satisfactory Trial. |
| Race 12 | Garrard's Horse and Hound Canterbury O.T.B. Maiden - C0q - 520 Heat 1 | LESTER was slow to jump before moving to the outside of the track. Into the first bend HOTWAX, JUST HOMER and DEVOTCHKA were checked when tightened by dogs on their outer. |
| Race 13 | Garrard's Horse and Hound Canterbury O.T.B. Maiden - C0q - 520 Heat 2 | MISTRESS ROSE was slow to jump. Into the first bend UNDER COVER, TOYA and KILKENNY were tightened losing ground. Soon after KILKENNY went to improve along the rail inside TOYA and struck the rail losing further ground to finish last. A veterinary check revealed no injury. |
| Race 14 | Garrard's Horse and Hound Canterbury O.T.B. Maiden - C0q - 520 Heat 3 | OPAWA DEB, ASTRO DAVE and BOTANY ANN were tightened into the first bend losing ground with OPAWA DEB striking the rail. Soon after HIGHGROVE was forced onto the rail. BUICK BERNIE who lead the race faded quickly in the home straight to finish midfield. He along with OPAWA DEB and HIGHGROVE were subject to veterinary checks which revealed no injury to BUICK BERNIE and OPAWA DEB, however HIGHGROVE was found to have right shoulder triceps soreness with a 7 day stand down recommended. |

Into the bend CELIA FATE struck the heels of GRANT A STAR drifting out to finish a long last. Into the back straight HOMEBUSH BONITA and OPAWA PADLESS collided losing momentum. CELIA FATE was subject to a veterinary check which revealed nothing amiss. |

| Race 17 | Garrard's Horse and Hound Canterbury O.T.B. Maiden - C0q - 520 Heat 5 | TUKURUA SYD was slow to jump. Soon after the jump BOMBER MAN ran inwards tightening PINTA GUINNESS before BOTANY LESSON ran outwards checking LINCOLN ZEPHYR. Into the home straight PINTA GUINESS and JUST A FEVER came together for some strides when racing at the rear. Both SCOTT NO FUNDING and an improving LINCOLN ZEPHYR ran wide into the back straight. |

The favourite OH OTIS and CHESTNUT came together after jumping with OH OTIS losing ground. Into the first bend WHO'S SHIFTY, LEENY TITLE, JACKALICIOUS and KEEP YA COOL were checked when tightened. |
