| Race 2 | thedogs.co.nz Stakes - C0 - 527 | COMET PRINCESS was slow to jump making some ground for fifth. JETSUN BANNER was handy until the back straight when he drifted out to finish a long last. A post race veterinary check revealed wrist pain with a seven day stand down recommended. |
| Race 3 | Lectro Hair & Beauty Sprint - C0 - 318 | FLYBY KAHN was slow to jump. At the end of the back straight THRILLING WORLD angled away from the rail and in doing so was dragged down from behind by HE'S A LION. These two runners and SALLY GALLY all lost ground and their chances in this incident. A post race veterinary check of THRILLING WORLD revealed no injury. |

| Race 6 | Carol's TAB Manurewa Sprint - C1 - 318 | THRILLING BLADE was a shade slow from the inside but railed well to run into second place. FREIGHT SHAKER checked off the back of GOLD FOR THYS into the bend and lost ground. |
| Race 7 | Meadowset Graphics Sprint - C1 - 318 | MAMBO SAM and ANYTHING FITZ were a shade slow from the outside boxes. MAMBO SAM did exceptionally well to get up for third in a very fast run race. BANG WALLOP and SUZIE THE FLUZY were both tightened in the early stages settling well back. |
