Race 1	Karapiro Distance Feature - C1d - 650	All clear.
Race 2	Protector Safety Series - C0q - 375 Heat 1	SUCH HOPE and CARIBBEAN EBONY were tightened into the bend and lost ground. On the home bend SAMBO WARRIOR ran wide and lost ground.
Race 3	Protector Safety Series - C0q - 375 Heat 2	THRILLING EAGLE lost ground into the bend and settled towards the rear. He made up a huge amount of ground for second.
Race 4	Hautapu Veterinary Clinic Stakes - C3/4 - 457	REWIRED lost ground when contacting SEASWIFT from behind as the latter crossed REWIRED into the bend.
Race 5	Protector Safety Series - C0q - 375 Heat 3	LUCK NOW WENDY was keen to get to the outside into the bend and in doing so checked CHAS MAC who lost some ground.
Race 6	Tamahere Stakes - C2 - 457	PAYNEFUL TRUTH was slow to jump settling at the rear. This dog then improved quickly around the outside but was dragged down by RAGING CONQUEST as this runner checked outwards off ITCHICOO PARK who was angling out from the rail. RAGING CONQUEST lost some ground while PAYNEFUL TRUTH dropped out to last with a post race veterinary check revealing no injury. WHAT SHIRAZ ran inwards soon after the jump tightening SHARMANS MAGIC and ITCHICOO PARK on his inside.
Race 7	Protector Safety Series - C0q - 375 Heat 4	THRILLING BLAST was last to jump but made ground well for second.
Race 8	Superior Chunky Dog Rolls Stakes - C3/4 - 457	AWESOME VOYAGE checked outwards off the pacemaking COOL DISCO into the bend losing a length.
Race 9	Interislander Stakes - C1 - 457	SANTO GOLD was last to jump and remained back throughout. HOMEBUSH TUI was inclined to run outwards in the back straight hindering DAPPER and THRILLING TYSON for a few strides.
Race 10	TAB Pump & Automotive Stakes - C5 - 457	WINSOME JESS was badly tightened between WITCH JASPER and PADDY BOND soon after the jump with WINSOME JESS losing ground. TRENDY SON was also checked in this incident.
