| Race 1 | Allied Work Force 0800 Labour - C0 - 305 | STARING CHARLIE who was having its first race day start, jumped on terms with the other runners but then dropped back to last and stayed there to the finish. The Stewards were a little concerned with the dogs committment to the chase but the benefit of some doubt was given due to STARING CHARLIE'S inexperience. A Vets inspection was ordered as a precaution and a 7 day stand down was imposed due to a shoulder injury. |
| Race 2 | Media Works - C0 - 305 | THRILLING NERO, MADE IN ENZED and COERCION were slow to begin and they stayed back to finish in the last three places. COERCION was observed to falter on the first corner and did not appear to be striding out correctly from there to the finish and was clearly sore after the race. He was examined by the Vet and stood down for 7 days with a strained tricep muscle. |
| Race 3 | Mickeys Super Liquor - C0 - 520 | THRILLING NOTE was bumped on the first corner and pushed wide around the first bend. MYSTERY KIM was observed to move out and marred THRILLING PETRA in the home straight and was stood down for 28 days under Rule 80.1a and is required to complete a satisfactory trial. |
| Race 4 | Wanganui Farm Supplies - C0 - 305 | WHATA ROSE and HOT LIKE ME were slow to begin and they then ran wide into the home straight and finished at the rear. |
| Race 5 | Broad Roofing Services - C1 - 305 | LAURIE'S BEST moved out on the first corner when getting off the heels of UPAHUT WITCH and this movement caused a check to MISS BRUGGE who went back to last. MISS BRUGGE then made up some ground to finish in 6th place. LAURIE'S BEST also lost ground in the incident and raced wide from there to finish in 2nd last place. |
| Race 6 | Keenan Concrete 6 Pack - C1 - 520 | SPINNING COMET and SPEEDILICIOUS were handy on the first corner but were checked losing ground and they never recovered and finished well back. |
| Race 7 | Morrie Gibbons Signs - C1 - 305 | RISING GAS began awkwardly losing three lengths and he stayed well back to finish in 2nd last place. The winner CAPTAIN CARLOS was nominated as a swab but was released due to a possible security breach when the swab Steward did not hear the call and did not escort the dog from the track. |
| Race 8 | GEON Wellington - C1 - 520 | BONNIE BOUCHEA was handy to the first corner but was then checked losing four lengths but ran on for 4th place. CAWBOURNE RANCH and BIGTIME BALLAD were checked and lost ground when entering the back straight and they never recovered and finished near the rear. BIGTIME BALLAD suffered a webbing injury and was stood down for 14 days. |
| Race 9 | Gary Ross Decorator - C1 - 305 | HOMEBUSH HOLLY ran in from the start and jostled YES MISS and BILLY WHIZ for a few strides. THRILLING DOLL was the slowest away but quickly recovered and was on a forward move on the first corner but had to check off the heels of HOMEBUSH EMMA and lost ground. She then recovered and narrowly won the race. |
