| Race 2 | Challenge Opawa All Up Sprint - C4 - 295 | WILLY EC HO and ROCKA HULA drifted to the rear after the jump. Into the bend an improving WILLY ECHO struck the heels of TASHA'S GIRL both losing all chance. |
| Race 3 | Canterbury Financial Services Ltd Stakes - C4/5 - 520 | SlMASH MCCOY was tightened soon after the start before moving down towards the rail coming in contact with SENSATIVE HARRY. Soon after INGA THE WINGA moved inwards tightening SMASH MCCOY who fell heavily as a result. INGA THE WINGA continued his momentum down to the rail susbsequently checking FLYING ASPEN and SENSATIVE HARRY who both lost ground. SMASH MCCOY finished the event and was subject to a veterinary check which revealed nothing amiss. |

| Race 5 | Katz 'n K9z - C5 - 295 | CAWBOURNE HAPPY, ANOTHER MANGLES and REWIND HISTORY were tightened by dogs on their outer into the bend losing all chance. Soon after TONY BAXTER and MOHAVE MICK came together for a few strides. |
| Race 6 | Speights Six Pack - C4 - 520 | BABE'S BOY checked out off MIDNIGHT ANNIE around the first bend forcing YAMBLA JACK and POISED over extra ground. SMASH PALACE was tightened by BABE'S BOY at the end of the back straight when racing at the rear. |
| Race 7 | Advance Pet Nutrition South Island Championship Final - C5 - 520 | PATTY'S HOLKA ran wide around the first bend when at the rear. WINSOME BUCKS clipped the heels of SWEET ABOUT ME into the back straight. BILLY RUBIN checked out off APPOINTED THYME at the end of the back straight. Turning for home and improving SWEET ABOUT ME collided with DEAL FOR YOU who drifted out quickly to finish at the rear. DEAL FOR YOU was subject to a veterinary check which revealed mild left whip muscle soreness with a 6 day stand down recommnded. |

| Race 9 | Advance Pet Nutrition New Zealand Stayers Cup Final - C2d - 732 | After the jump BOATSWAIN WALLY moved sharply towards the rail colliding heavily with WINSOME DOSH, MR BONZALES and KNOW BEST who fell with MR.JAZZ scrambling over the fallen dog. Thes four lost all chance as a result. Both KNOW BEST and MR.JAZZ were subject to veterinary checks. Nothing was found amiss with either dog. |
| Race 10 | Kolorful Kanvas Dash - C5 - 295 | TAIGA ran in sharply from her outside draw badly checking OHOKA KERRY, HOMEBUSH CASTOR and NITRO MOWIE who sustained a serious injury. Soon after DIGAMMA struck the heels of TAIGA both losing ground and forcing HOMEBUSH CASTOR very wide on the track. A veterinary check revealed NITRO MOWIE to have sustained a dropped infraspinatus musle in the left shoulder with a 28 day stand down recommended. |
