Judicial report: Trainer MJ FLIPP made application to Stewards on Monday 20 July 2009, under Rules 80.4 and 80.5 in respect of JUST A BOLT who was stood down at Christchurch on 17 July 2009 under Rule 80.1.b. JUST A BOLT was examined by veterinarian L ROBERTS on 20 July 2009 and found with soreness over both lateral sesamoids and pain on flexion of the right wrist, standing the dog down for a period of 21 days. As this is deemed a serious injury under the Rule, the stand down under Rule 80.1.b was rescinded and JUST A BOLT ordered to undertake a Satisfactory Trial.

Race 1	Advance Pet Nutrition Stakes - C0 - 520	DEEP BLUE DEVIL was slow to jump. Into the bend RAMA DING DONG was squeezed between SECRET TRACEY and DEEP BLUE DEVIL losing ground. Soon after SECRET TRACEY was buffetting for a few strides betwen BOTANY HORNET and DEEP BLUE DEVIL. RAMA DING DONG was subject to a veterinary check which revealed no injury.
Race 2	Challenge Opawa All Up Stakes - C0 - 520	BOTANY TOM was slow to jump. Soon after the jump MORE PORK and TRICKY DAISY came together. Into the first bend MAIELLA LAD was dragged down when clipped from behind by HIGHGROVE who moved outwards and collided with JUST ADDISON who in turn inconvenienced MORE PORK and BOTAN Y TOM.
Race 3	www.greyhoundtips.co.nz Dash - C1 - 295	MULBERRY KING, SILENT WHISPER and THRILLING JAZZ came together in the run to the bend. Into the bend WATTLE YOU BEE was tightened by SINBINED resulting in WATTLE YOU BEE falling before a trailing MULBERRY KING scrambled over her. This forced SILENT WHISPER and THRILLING JAZZ wide. WATTLE YOU BEE regained her feet to finish the race was subject to a veterinary check which revealed no injury.
Race 4	www.duvauchellehotelmotel.co.nz Dash - C1 - 295	Into the home straight FURMINATOR moved inwards checking DANCE FOR DANNY who came back on SHAZZ'S SAINT, both losing ground. HANNAH BRAND was subject to a veterinary check which revealed a laceration to the right hind stifle with a 10 day stand down recommended.
Race 5	Tuesday Place Pick Sprint - C1 - 295	TARYN ROSE ran outwards after the jump tightening MISS POKEY who came back on SLICK NOTCH, both losing ground. Into the bend ONE SICK CHICK was tightened by SIX PLEASE.
Race 6	Kiwi Classic Final - SPECAf - 520	OHOKA TASH came in contact with PATTY'S GIRL into the first bend before easing back. Into the back straight BOATSWAIN WALLY checked out off OPAWA SECRET. At the end of the back straight OHOKA TASH was tightened by BOATSWAIN WALLY drifted out to finish last. OHOKA TASH was subject to a veterinary check which revealed no abnormalities. The trainers representative S BARBER viewed the race film with the Stewards and after listening to his explanation, Stewards deemed OHOKA TASH'S performance to be unsatisfactory and ordered her to undertake a satisfactory trial in accordance with Rule 81.1.
Race 7	Excesior Sports Bar & TAB Sprint - C1 - 295	JULINSKY ran outwards after the jump colliding with SPIN CYCLE and PLAIN ARIAL. Turning for home PLAIN ARIAL struck the heels of SPIN CYCLE checking out and colliding with COLERIDGE KID.
Race 8	Hampden Tavern Sprint - C0 - 295	ARCHILLIES and CRUISE TO CAPRI came together into the bend with CRUISE TO CAPRI moving outwards striking the heels of TOKEN RAGE.
Race 9	Anglers Arms Sprint - C0 - 295	ASTRO DAVE tightened CHOKE racing into the first bend with a resultant check to TUKURUA ZAC causing this dog to fall. TUKURUA ZAC was the subject of a post race veterinary check which revealed no injury.
Race 10	Pick Six Leg 1 Sprint - C1 - 295	LEO'S BOY and BLACK INN BRAVE drifted to the rear after the jump. Into the bend HANSOME HARRY drove down towards the rail badly checking MOMENT, BURN DOWN ROAD and VERONICA. Both LEO'S BOY and BLACK INN BRAVE ran into the rear of the checked dogs.
Race 11	Flair Stakes Heat 1 - C1q - 520 Heat 1	KARA JANZ checked out off REDLINE REVOLVER into the first bend forcing SUPER STORM over extra ground.
Race 12	Flair Stakes Heat 2 - C1q - 520 Heat 2	Racing into the first bend GENISTA DIAMOND checked BILLY BOB RAY when racing towards the rear of the field.
Race 13	Flair Stakes Heat 3 - C1q - 520 Heat 3	THRILLING RILEY who was handy early drifted out over the concluding stages to finish a clear last. A post race veterinary check revealed right wrist pain on flexion with a 14 day stand down recommended.
Race 14	Speights Six Pack - C2 - 520	ELIE SAAB and SOULJA STORM were slow to jump. Into the first bend LEENY TITLE was tightened by SELF INFLICTED before being struck by SOULJA STORM losing ground as a result. Trainer A POUTAMA was shown the race film in respect of SOULJA STORM coming in contact with LEENY TITLE into the back straight, and was advised that Stewards would closely monitor his future race starts.
Race 15	Flair Stakes Heat 4 - C1q - 520 Heat 4	KNOW TELLING and WHO'S SHIFTY came together into the first bend.
