A post race veterinary check revealed a hock strain and a painful neck with a ten day stand down recommended. Into the bend BROTHER BADGER checked off the heels of THRILLING DOLL and lost ground. |
| Race 2 | Commercial Plumbing Stakes - C3/4 - 527 | WINSOME JESS was tightened and fell at the entrance to the back straight. A post race veterinary check revealed no injury. PICCADILLY LINE ran outwards and eased at the entrance to the back straight and lost ground. This dog ran on again to finish fourth. A post race veterinary check revealed no injury. Trainer BDF Craik advised that the dog would be given a brief spell and he was advised that the dog must complete a satisfactory trial under Rule 81.1 OLYMPIC ACE marred the running of SEASWIFT as these dogs entered the home straight. The stewards showed trainer BDF Cole the head on view of the run home and he admitted that his dog had marred. As this was this dog's second offence it was stood down for three months under Rule 80.1.a and ordered to undertake a satistactory trial. |
