Judicial report: An inquiry was opened and adjourned under Rule 88.1.o in respect of GROOVE ARMADA (JT McInerney) leaving the kennels for Race 14 wearing the incorrect rug number.

Race 1	Added Energy Welcome - C0 - 390	WHAT JUSTICE was very slow to jump. Around the bend TEE ESS KAY checked out off MISTY SHADOW taking PEG'S ANGEL wide on the track.
Race 2	$26 Muzzle Stakes - C1 - 390	HORSE POWER was slow to jump from the boxes and scrambled for a stride or two. Into the bend FINE ARTS tightened CAWBOURNE NORMA and LEO'S BOY, all losing momentum.
Race 3	Southern Floor Care - C0 - 390	BANFIELD LASS was slow to jump as was OZARK'S COVER. MITZY'S ENFORCER jumoped awkwardly and jostled with WINNER SCHNITZEL for a few strides before checking outwards. Around the bend ASTRO DAVE clipped the heels of KILKENNY who was dragged down for a stride.
Race 4	Bounce B Powder - C1 - 457	FLASH SMASH, WILLY MINA and HOMEBUSH SHEDAN came together into the bend losing ground.
Race 5	Ascot Park Hotel - C1/2 - 390	HOMEBUSH MARLON and PALEFACE SHADOW lost ground after the start. Into the bend CLEEVE HILL moved away from the rail tightening the favourite GIVE ME MORE before checking out off MONTIVIDEO'S heels and colliding with LITTLE MARVEL.
Race 6	ILT Speights Ale House - C0 - 457	HIGHGROVE and JAZZY SHIRAZ came together after the jump. Into the bend PINTA GUINNESS ran outwards colliding with an improving HIGHGROVE, losing ground as a result. THAT'S SARAH was subject to a post race veterinary check which revealed a laceration over the right eye which required sutures with a 7 day stand down imposed.
Race 7	Lonestar Cafe and Bar - C1 - 457	INDIANA GIRL and GREAT KAY'S came together soon after the jump. GREAT KAY'S checked off MAGIC BURST'S heels into the bend. Soon after INDIANA GIRL clipped BILLYBOB RAY'S heels before checking out onto GREAT KAY'S.
Race 8	Brendon Burke @ Southern Wide - C1/2 - 390	ANOTHER WACK drifted to last after the jump before improving along the rail around the bend. SELF INFLICTED went down on his nose when tightened by HOMEBUSH LENNY just short of the line. A veterinary check revealed nothing amiss.
Race 9	Stamina Plus Powder - C1 - 390	SEA ADMIRAL checked off DARK ICE into the bend coming in contact with LIAM BALE on his outer.
Race 10	Osborn Engineering Bluff - C1 - 390	FROSTY BLONDE and MOMENT were slow to jump. SIX PLEASE clipped the heels of FANCY WAYS losing ground.
Race 11	Les McLeod Stakes - C1 - 457	The favourite VICTORY CHEERS ran in sharply at the jump with MALROY moving out resulting in them and WOOF INGILLTAB colliding heavily. VICTORY CHEERS lost ground sharply to tail the field home. DAMO'S ANGEL jumped from the boxes and was striding awkwardly immediately drifting out to finish some distance behind the placegetters. Post race veterinary checks on both dogs revealed VICTORY CHEERS to be lame in her left hind leg with pain on palpation of the tibia with a 21 day stand down recommended. DAMO'S ANGEL was found with left gracilus bruising and a 21 day stand down recommended.
Race 12	Frog N' Firkin - C1 - 390	SILENT WHISPER was slow to jump. Into the bend CLAN SLITHER and SPIN CYCLE were tightened losing ground. Soon after CAWBOURNE FREDDY crossed WORDS OF WISDOM to take the lead with WORDS OF WISDOM being checked and drifting out.
Race 13	Kelvin Hotel - C2/3 - 390	Into the bend PARANOVA was checked coming back on AWESOME DEEJAY and forcing HAILSTONE HERB and ANOTHER NICK wide on the track.
Race 14	www.southlandgreyhounds.co.nz - C4/5 - 390	Enroute to the start as the field were crossing the harness track the starter discovered GROOVE ARMADA (JT McInerney) to be wearing the incorrect rug number. The correct number was retrieved from the kennels and placed on the dog. Both BIONIC DREAM and WATUSI ASSASSIN were subject to post race veterinary checks. BIONIC DREAM was found with 2cm cut to his tail which was flushed and bandaged with no stand down recommended. WATUSI ASSASSIN was found to have a cut to his left hind foot which was sutured and bandaged. A 10 day stand down was recommended.
Race 15	See Ya Next Season - C3/4 - 457	FLYING ASPEN and TEDDY NOVA came together after the jump losing ground.
