Judicial report: Complaints were received from J.Woolston Bell and S.McInerney in relation to an alleged incident at the catching area following Race 7. The matter was investigated by the Stewards and the complainants will be spoken to in due course.

Race 1	DECOART PRINTED PRODUCTS, LEVIN - C1 - 375	THRILLING LILLI was slow to begin and then raced wide on the bend but made up ground to finish in 5th place.
Race 2	SPORTS LODGE MOTEL, WANGANUI - C1 - 375	BIGTIME PAL was very slow to begin and lost several lengths and all chance and he finished in 2nd last place. The favourite MISS BRUGGE raced onto the heels of THRILLING ASH on the first corner and they both lost ground and any chance of a placing.
Race 3	GRANT IRVINE PHARMACY DASH - C4 - 375	FIFI THE GENIUS was first away from the start but then drifted back through the field and finished in last place. She was examined by the Vet and stood down for 28 days with a hock injury. FANCY SPIDER was a little slow to begin and was then held up behind runners on the first corner but made up some ground to finish in 5th place.
Race 4	KERB & CONCRETE MIDDLE DISTANCE - C1 - 457	POUTAMA RAMA collided with the hind quarters of BOLTS BOLTED on the bend and they both lost ground and stayed well back to the finish.
Race 5	DELTA DRAINAGE & WATER SERVICES - C4/5 - 457	NELLY JEAN moved out on the first corner and pushed THRILLING GRIT out which resulted in checks to TRIAL BAY, KID DELANEY and GOSS SAGE who all lost ground and they never recovered and finished in the rear group.
Race 6	GAP, ADOPT A GREYHOUND SPRINT - C5 - 375	BLACK TIE ran in from the start and caused checks to REWIRED, RUN JAKE RUN and FLASH ENFORCER who all lost ground. REWIRED checked off the the heels of WONGAWILLINEV in the home straight as WONGAWILLINEV weakened.
Race 7	OUTBACK TRADING COMPANY LTD MANAWATU CUP - C5 - 457	FANCY MEL and OLYMPIC ACE jostled together for several strides in the run to the first corner and FANCY MEL eventually checked and went back onto CAWBOURNE ACE and they never recovered and finished well back.
Race 8	WENHAM GRAIN & SEED - C2 - 375	All clear.
Race 9	RADIO TRACKSIDE 828AM MANAWATU - C3 - 375	FIND PEDRO raced very wide on the track from box 6 and covered extra ground but finished on very well for 2nd placing.
Race 10	BILL BOYD & ASSOCIATES - C1/2 - 457	CAPP MANNERING was checked and lost ground on the first corner. FLY WITH ACTION collided with LIFE BECKONS on the bend and fell. He was examined by the Vet and stood down for 10 days with a carpus injury.
