Judicial report: ARCTIC ROMEO, which had been stood down at Cambridge on 9 July, was permitted to start under Rule 82.5 after being checked by Veterinary Surgeon Mr Steve McGill in the presence of a Steward and found to be free of injury.

Race 4 | TERRY RYAN TIMBER $7,500 BONUS FIRST4 - C5 - 318 | AS FAST AS ran inwards in the back straight on to HOMEBUSH HOUDINI. AS FAST AS then hit the rail with her back left leg and lost ground with a post race veterinary check revealing no injury. ENSIGN was never in contention with a post race veterinary check revealing a left hind calf muscle/tendon injury with a ten day stand down recommended. |
Race 5 | $75,000 PICK6 STAKES - C0 - 527 | LAZENBY and SHOWTIME ADDIS came together soon after the jump. Into the first bend SAMBO WARRIOR checked outwards off the back of PRINCE MARCIANO pushing COMET PRINCESS wide around that bend. |
Race 6 | CAROL'S TAB SERIES - C1q - 318 Heat 1 | KYLASI was tightened into the bend as DREAM SEEKER crossed to the rail with KYLASI losing ground. THRILLING DOLL and PYFO WILLEE also came together at this point losing some momentum. |
Race 7 | CAROL'S TAB SERIES - C1q - 318 Heat 1 | CAPTAIN CARLOS ran inwards on to SYDEHHAM PRETTY and INDIA BLUE at the end of the back straight with CAPTAIN CARLOS losing a few lengths. |
Race 8 | TONY FOX'S 40TH BIRTHDAY STAKES - C2/3 - 527 | DOLLY BREEN was slow to jump. GRADUATED CLASS and PAYNEFUL TRUTH came together on two occasions on the first bend losing momentum with DOLLY BREEN being forced wide as a result. |
Race 9 | JACK'S WHOLESALE MEATS STAKES - C4 - 527 | In a tightly bunched field into the first bend SHOWTIME LEO ran out of room and fell heavily with PICCADILLY LINE and ARTERIAL BALE being badly checked as a result. SHOWTIME LEO was caught at the pull up area with a post race veterinary check revealing a badly bruised shoulder and a sore neck with a fourteen day stand down recommended. |
