Race 1	ALLIED WORK FORCE 0800 LABOUR - C1 - 305	BIGTIME ALEX was slow away by a few lengths On entering the first turn SKIPPER LADY was in tight quarters and clipped the heels of ANOTHER SAGE and fell. MAGNIFICENT and BIGTIME ALEX were checked as they tried to avoid the fallen dog. SKIPPER LADY after falling ,recovered her feet and finished on to the lure some distance behind the field and was sent for a vet check where she was found to be suffering from grazing and bruising with a 10 day stand down.
Race 2	BILDERBECK CONSTRUCTION LTD - C1 - 305	HOMEBUSH TARNZ dwelt at the start slightly. Soon after the start BENBULBEN BEN came across and on to HOMEBUSH TARNZ and BIGTIME SLAMMER who then came across on BIGTIME TITLE for a few strides As the field raced in to the first turn BIGTIME TITLE came across on to HOT SPICEY BOY and BIGTIME SLAMMER. THRILLING RANGER came up inside of him and pushed him wide thereby costing him valuable ground at that stage.
Race 3	BROAD ROOFING SERVICES - C1/2 - 520	As the field raced in around the first turn FREDDIE SAGE and TAILS OFF came together for a couple of strides. BOTANY ADAM led for most of the race until the last seventy metres and finished in last position at the post .He had been previously racing over sprint distances in his previous two race starts. BOTANY ADAM was examined by the vet at the handlers request and found found to have a bleeding quick and has been given a 7 day stand down.
Race 4	WANGANUI SECURITY SERVICES - C2 - 305	HOMEBUSH JOY weighed 2.7 kilograms down on its last start weight which was over three months previous but was passed fit to race by the examining Vet. As the field raced in to the home straight LEFT JAB changed ground outwards to avoid heels and this cost him some lengths at that point.
Race 5	WANGANUI FARM SUPPLIES - C2 - 520	CHILLI NICK (fav) missed the start slightly and was not able to muster pace early on in the running to get handy, made up ground in the latter part of the race to finish in 4th placing at the line. WAITUI FURY a favoured runner received a check as the field raced around the first turn and lost ground from there on in and finished in last position at the line and was sent for a vet check as a precaution and was found to have a tricep muscle injury with a 21 day stand down.
Race 6	KEENAN CONCRETE 6 PACK - C5 - 305	HIFI ALLEGO made a flyer of a start and quickly was a few lengths in front and there was jostling between the rest of the as they tried to get racing room in to the first turn , the worst affected was BOB BAXTER. BOB BAXTER was checked over by the vet at the trainers request and was found to be suffering from pain on pressure over right hock with a 10 day stand down given.
Race 7	WWW.WANGANUICARCENTRE.COM - C2/3 - 305	Soon after the start KATHLEEN BOY(2ndfav) came across on to SHARIMORE ,CENTRAL RAIDER and WHATA BOWLER causing these dogs to jostle for a distance, and KATHLEEN BOY was caught wide in to and across the top and was not able to get in to contention througout the race and finished in 6th position at the line.
Race 8	VITA POWER - C4/5 - 520	STARLIGHT JEWEL was handy in to the first turn and then started to drop back to the rear and was noticed to be uncomfortable in its stride thereafter and finished in last position at the post and was sent for a vet check and was found to have suffered a tricep muscle injury with a 21 day stand down given.
Race 9	CROMBIE LOCKWOOD (NZ) LTD - C2/3 - 305	EVAMORE (fav) was away well from the boxes ,then GO BEN GO came across on to her and they jostled for several stides and she was pushed back to the rear, she then came out off the rail and was again knocked by FIND PEDRO as they raced in to the first turn and she got out wide and was forced to cover a fair bit of extra ground in the running and only beat one other to the line.
Race 10	MEDIA WORKS - C4 - 305	TIGERLONG FURY was slow away and was able to gain an uninterupted run through on the rail to carry on for a comfortable win. CAWBOURNE CROWN had to check back off the heels of JOSHIE'S GIRL as they raced in to the first turn. SYDENHAM SMITH a favoured runner from box 8 was not able to get over during most of the running and consequantly had to cover a lot of extra ground and beat two home.
