Race 1	THE BROWNZY SPORTS BAR SERIES - C0q - 318 Heat 1	LOONEY MAGIC ran inwards soon after the jump contacting THRILLING RAY and being dragged down dropping to the rear. Into the bend an improving KARN checked outwards off FLYING WHALE and was then dragged down by MYREEN with both dogs losing ground. Shortly after this on the home turn MYREEN, KARN and LOONEY MAGIC all came together at the back of the field. Post race veterinary checks of KARN and LOONEY MAGIC revealed no injuries.
Race 2	THE BROWNZY SPORTS BAR SERIES - C0q - 318 Heat 1	BLUE STRATA ran outwards into the bend pushing SHOWTIME ADDIS and SUPERIOR SOPHIE wider.
Race 3	THE BROWNZY SPORTS BAR SERIES - C0q - 318 Heat 1	MISS VIP was very slow to jump. LEFT CAMBER angled inwards and came into contact with the rail at the end of the back straight losing some ground. A post race veterinary check revealed no injury. PRINCESS WHALE received a slight check as the favourite UNCLE DENIS crossed her into the bend losing some ground. This runner also appeared to brush the running rail on the home turn with a post race veterinary check revealing no injury.
Race 4	INTERISLANDER STAKES - C1 - 527	Favourite ITCHICOO PARK received a check soon after the jump and settled at the rear. Into the first bend TALEVERO crossed to the rail from his outside draw causing tightening to SHY NEENA, JULIE'S LADY and HOMEBUSH TUI in behind. In this incident PERSUASION, MADDER THAN and ITCHICOO PARK also received bad checks and lost ground. Post race veterinary checks were carried out on SHY NEENA and JULIE'S LADY who were the worst affected with no injuries being detected. MOONSHINE LASS was found to have torn her right dew claw with a seven day stand down recommended. MOONSHINE LASS (HR Bond) torn right dew claw. Rule 82.1. 7 days up to and including 11 July 2009.
Race 5	$40,000 PICK6 SPRINT - C5 - 318	SWINGING ZORRO was tightened along the inside into the bend and appeared to brush the rail. A post race veterinary check was carried out as a precaution that revealed no injury.
Race 6	THE BROWNZY SPORTS BAR SERIES - C0 - 318	COERCION was very slow to jump. Into the bend ELUSIVE CONQUEST got on the back of MATRIX HERO with these two runners drifting back through the field. HE'S A LION was also affected in this incident but managed to avoid most of the trouble and ran into second. Post race veterinary checks of MATRIX HERO and ELUSIVE CONQUEST revealed minor grazes for MATRIX HERO but no stand downs were recommended.
Race 7	MEADOWSET GRAPHICS STAKES - C1 - 527	FANCY GIRL was tightened into the first bend and dropped to the rear. THRILLING NEO (JR Udy) left fore cut next to pad digit 2. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 5 days up to and including 8 July 2009.
Race 8	PACIFIC SHEET & COIL (NZ) STAKES - C4/5 - 527	PADDY BOND and VIREYA came together when in tight quarters into the first bend with both dogs running to the outside and losing their chances. Post race veterinary checks on these runners revealed
Race 9	THE ALAMO BAR & GRILL 6 PACK - C3 - 527	SHEA SHERIE was shuffled back to last into the bend from her inside draw. She was still well back on the turn but flashed up wide to grab third. VALUE PACK was found to have damaged webbing on left fore with a ten day stand down recommended. VALUE PACK (GJ Noakes) left fore damaged webbing. Rule 82.1. 10 days up to and including 14 July 2009.
Race 10	NEXT SUNDAY @ NOON SPRINT - C4 - 318	TRENDY SON was checked into the bend as SYDENHAM SMITH wanted the rails and lost ground settling last. On the home turn BOKARM ELLIE was shunted wide and came together with CAWBOURNE BESS losing ground. FAST STASS (DD Schofield) late scratched at Auckland GRC on 2 July 2009. Rule 68.26. 7 days up to and including 8 July 2009. WINSOME NOVA (DD Schofield) left gracilis muscle tear with extensive bruising. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 28 days up to and including 31 July 2009.
