Race 1	ALLIED WORK FORCE 0800 LABOUR - C1 - 305	On the run down to the first turn TALKABOUT SUZI was checked back a couple of lengths as BIGTIME SLAMMER made ground over towards the rail. On the turn in to the home straight ICE BALL came over and made contact with TALKABOUT SUZI putting both dogs off stride and cost them more ground at that stage SPECTRA CONQUEST (fav) was a bit slow away from the start and was caught wide across the top bend and could not get in to contention thereafter BIGTIME BAND B Cole acute lameness right front leg, pain in biceps muscle Late scratching Rule 68.26.10 days stand down to and including 12.07.09 BAYLISS BALE ex Wanganui 01.07.09
Race 2	BILDERBECK CONSTRUCTION LTD - C1 - 520	Racing down to the first turn CAWBOURNE SPEED came out off the rail as LOCHINVAR PRICE came across and tightened the middle of the field runners and he pushed FANCY MAY over on to CAWBOURNE SNEAKY and FANCY GIRL ran out of room and fell. CYCLONE TRAVIS and TAILS OFF were checked at this point as they raced out wide to avoid the fallen dog and covered a lot of extra ground for some distance FANCY GIRL recovered her feet and carried on to the lure some distance behind the field FANCY GIRL was sent for a vet examination where no abnormalities were found LOCHINVAR PRINCE suffered a cut to the foreleg on pulling up to the lure ,it bled quite profusley ,he was attended to by the vet promptly and has been stood down for ten days LOCHIVAR PRINCE D D Schofield suffered a cut to the right foreleg Rule 82.1.10 days stand down to and including 12.07.09
Race 3	BROAD ROOFING SERVICES - C2 - 305	GOOGLE MAGGO was awkwardy away from the boxes for a few strides Soon after the start BIGTIME ELITE and BIGTIME MILLY tangled for a couple of strides ,resulting in BIGTIME ELITE making contact with the rail quite hard BIGTIME ELITE recovered her balance and ran on for 5th placing and was sent for a vet examination ,where no abnormalites were found CAPTAIN BOYCOTT (fav) was forced to race wide in to and around the top bend and covered a lot of extra ground throughout the running eventually finishing in 2nd position at the line HOMEBUSH PERCY N Udy has undergone surgery for cut front leg Rule 64.12. 14 days stand down to and including 15.07.09
Race 4	WANGANUI SECURITY SERVICES - C2 - 520	Soon after the start there was crowding in the midfield as LAGOON LAD came across and CHIVAL REGAL came out resulting in GUILTY VERDICT being checked back to the rear As the field raced down the back they bunched up and were racing tightly and MAY SAGE and GUILTY VERDICT were checked and both lost some ground going back to the rear of the field at that point MAY SAGE never recovered to get back in to contention from there on in and was nioticed to be not right after the race and has been sent for a vet examination were she was found to have suffered a triangle muscle injury and has been stood down for 28 days ROTOVEGAS GIRL Freeman & Turnwald Diarrhoea Rule 64.12. 10 days stand down to and including 11.07.09 MAY SAGE B Cole Suffered a triangle muscle injury Rule 82.1.28 days stand down to and including the 30.07.09
Race 5	WANGANUI FARM SUPPLIE - C3 - 305	After about 30 metres CAB DRIVER ,SHARIMORE and EVAMORE came together and jostled each other for several strides ,resulting in SHARIMORE being squeezed back and being dragged down behind for several strides and losing all chance from there on in CAWBOURNE FELLA attempted to get over as the field raced in to the first turn and came together with FANTASY BAXTER and EVAMORE and these dogs all suffered checks ,soon after CAWBOURNE FELLA and FANTASY BAXTER came together and CAWBOURNE FELLA went back through the field towards the rear and finished in 2nd to last position at the line and was sent for a vet examination as a precaution and was found to have suffered a pectoral muscle and a slight wrist injury with a 7 days stand down CAWBOURNE FELLA Freeman & Turnwald suffered a pectoral muscle and slight wrist strain injury Rule 82.1.7 days stand down to and including 9.07.09
Race 6	KENNAN CONCRETE 6 PACK - C3 - 520	Soon after the start BEEJAY'S MATE and ADDIS JAY came together for a couple of strides WRONG IDENTITY G&S Hayden Holmes Rule 64 Dog has been retired due to persistant soreness.
Race 7	WWW.WANGANUICARCENTRE.COM - C4 - 305	TIGGERLONG FURY was slowest away from the boxes and then made good ground up on the rail throughout race to finish a close 2nd placing at the line Soon after the start SUPERIOR BLACK and STAR CONQUEST came together for a couple of strides ,soon after on entering the first turn SUPERIOR BLACK was noticed to have nudged the rail slightly at that point, but did not suffer any problem from this After the dogs had pulled up to the lure FIFI THE GENIUS suffered a cramping bout and took a minute to recover and was able to return to the kennel area unaided
Race 8	VITA POWER - C4/5 - 520	As the field raced in to the first turn RAPPERY NEWY crossed on to the rail in front of GOSS SAGE (fav) who checked back and came out off the rail and had to check back again off the heels of DARK FANCY GOSS SAGE lost ground from this incident in having to race wide around the first bend and was not able to get in to contention from there on in
Race 9	CROMBIE LOCKWOOD (NZ) LTD - C5 - 305	PIZZA GIRL jumped awkwardly away from the boxes and bumped in to LITTLE LADY BLUE for a stride Soon after this WINSOME LIGHT and LITTLE LADY BLUE jostled for several strides As the field had made their way in to the first bend LITTLE LADY BLUE had made the lead and crossed to the rail and caused HIFI ALLEGRO (fav) to be severly checked and drop back through the field , this in turn caused TWIST MISS to try and go around her as as she did they came together resulting in TWIST MISS falling and HIFI ALLEGRO had to hurdle her at that point TWIST MISS suffered a badly broken foreleg and was euthanased TWIST MISS B Cole checked and fell and suffered a fractured foreleg dog was euthansed Rule 82.1
Race 10	MEDIA WORKS - C4/5 - 305	As the field were racing across the top bend POLSKA checked back off the heels of LUEMEAH MISS and went back on to SMART JOSEPHINE , this caused these two dogs to gdrop back through the field and they could not get back in to contention from there on in
