| Race 6 | KEENAN CONCRETE 6 PACK - C1 - 520 | THRILLING MOSS was tightened between runners soon after the start and was three lengths last on the first corner. He then made up ground well to finish in 2nd place. CAPP MANNERING, TAILS OFF and HOMEBUSH TUI bumped together on the first corner and lost a little ground. |
| Race 7 | GUTHRIE BOWRON WANGANUI - C1 - 305 | The favourite CAPTAIN CARLOS was checked at the start and lost ground when GOLD FOR THYS jumped out and STAR SEEKER jumped in. CAPTAIN CARLOS then had to check off the heels of BOTANY SHELLEY on the bend and went back to last and stayed there to the finish. |
| Race 8 | WWW.WANGANUICARCENTRE.COM - C1 - 520 | BIGTIME COWELL was slow away and then bumped with THRILLING WAG on the first corner losing further ground and he stayed well back to finish in 6th place. RED TERROR was tightened and checked back to the rear soon after the start but he did make up ground for 4th placing. THRILLING WAG came out on the first corner and bumped heavily with DAPTO TOKEN and lost several lengths. He stayed back and finished in last place and was examined by the Vet as a precaution and was cleared of injury. |
| Race 9 | BROAD ROOFING SERVICES - C1 - 305 | DENNY JEWEL was checked and fell in the back straight and LISSADELL SAM was also checked and lost ground in the incident. DENNY JEWEL was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury. KYLASI and BITTA ZIP collided on the bend losing ground and they finished well back. QUEEN LIZZY was near the lead and on the rail entering the straight but propped and ran out over the heels of BIGTIME MILLY and HOMEBUSH HOLLY and she finished in 4th place. QUEEN LIZZY was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury but was stood down for 28 days for failing to pursue the lure. QUEEN LIZZIE is also required to complete a satisfactory trial. QUEEN LIZZIE N.Clark Rule 80.1 b Failed to pursue the lure and stood down for 28 days to and including 21.07.09. Also required to complete a satisfactory trial under Rule 81.1. |
