Judicial report: Weather: Fine with a bitter wind AH LEE, trainer of TARYN ROSE, a starter in Race 1, was fined $50.00 for a breach of Rule 68.9 when failing to present the registration papers for the dog at the time of kennelling.
J GUTHRIE, trainer of OZARK'S JOLSON, a starter in Race 9 was fined $100.00 for a breach of Rule 69.11 whn OZARK'S JOLSON weighed in 1.6kgs above his last race start weight.
OSWALD BOTANG, BURN DOWN ROAD and SOULJA STORM successfully completed Satisfactory Trials in accordance with Rule 80.

| Race 2 | CHALLENGE OPAWA ALL UP SPRINT - C1 - 295 | NEED A NURSE was squeezed between AILIE BALE and MOMENT into the first bend. NEED A NURSE then got onto the heels of MOMENT losing considerable ground. NEED A NURSE ran on well to finish third. As the field turned for home SILENT STRYKER checked AILIE BALE when both these dogs were back in the field. COLERIDGE KID (C Mitchell) was a late scratching at kennelling with diarrhoea. | Race 3 | HAPPY BIRTHDAY MURRAY WIGLEY STAKES - C0 - 520 | In the run to the first bend UNDER COVER moved away from the rail checking RAMA DING DONG, OZARK'S MASK and CHOKE with CHOKE drifted out to finish last. A veterinary check revealed CHOKE to have no injury. |

As the field raced into the first bend ROYAL LYCAON ran out dragging down the leader ALBIE'S STAR before also checking BETTY BEEP and BARBER'S GIRL. |

| Race 9 | BARRONS SUPPLIES STAKES - C0 - 520 | OZARK'S JOLSON checked off the heels of TWIRLY BERLY shortly after the start then drifted out wide on the track and finished a long way behind the field. A post race veterinary check was ordered on OZARK'S JOLSON which revealed no abnormalities. Early leader MAMBO received a check from PRINCE SERGIO racing down the back straight and drifted back sharply. A post race veterinary check was ordered on MAMBO which revealed no abnormalities. |
| Race 10 | KOLORFUL KANVAS DASH - C1 - 295 | As the field raced into the first bend the eventual winner GENISTA GEORGIA crossed sharply to the rail and checked PROTEST LINE which in turn went back onto HOMEBUSH LENNY and then onto WORDS OF WISDOM. On the home turn VERONICA checked out off MOVER OVER DALE and onto ANOTHER NICK. VERONICA was then bumped sideways shortly after turning for home. |
| Race 11 | TUESDAY PLACE PICK DASH - C2 - 295 | JUST A BOLT ran out, shortly after the start, checking both KNOW GO and PAREORA DOLL. JUST A BOLT continued to move out rounding the first bend pushing KNOW GO into the path of SORRENTO SUN who then came back onto HOMEBUSH PERCY. CAP FANTASTIC (JT McInerney) right hock sprain. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 21 days up to and including 5 July 2009. KAIWERA SARAH (M&J Hill) withdrawn under Rule 63.10. No penalty. |

| Race 13 | DAVE ROBBIE PHOTOGRAPHER DASH - C3 - 295 | KEEP YA COOL and KNOW NEED were squeezed shortly after the start. The winner REWIND HISTORY was hit by KNOW NEED at the lure and fell with a post race veterinary check being ordered for REWIND HISTORY which revealed no abnormalities. |
| Race 14 | KATZ 'N K9Z STAKES HEAT 1 - C1q - 520 Heat 1 | MCCABE was a shade slow away and improved between dogs racing into the first bend. MCCABE then came into contact with NORTH INGILLTAB, OFF THE RAILS, WILLY BOLT and SWEET PAPOOSE. On the home bend an improving WILLY BOLT clipped the heels of MCCABE. A post race veterinary check was ordered on WILLY BOLT which revealed nothing amiss. DAMO'S ANGEL (JT McInerney) scratched at Southland on 11 June 2009.
