| Race 3 | BILDERBECK CONSTRUCTION LTD - C1 - 520 | THRILLING MOSS was slow away from the boxes losing several lengths and was not able to recover the lost ground thereafter beating a couple of runners home Racing around the first bend THRILLING TIFF had to check back off the heels of CYCLONE TRAVIS and was forced to race wide losing ground. As the field raced in to the home straight THRILLING TIFF was crowded close to the rail for approxamitly 40 metres by TAILS OFF and finished in last position. |

KARISAMORE I.Moore Rule 64 Suffering an injury to a foreleg 10 days stand down to and including 13.06.09. |
| Race 5 | WANGANUI FARM SUPPLIES - C1/2 - 520 | Soon after the start SERIOUS CHARGE ,GUILTY VERDICT and BENBULBEN BEN jostled for several strides. As the field raced in to the first turn BENBULBEN BEN checked off heels and went back a few lengths and raced in the rear there after. BENBULBEN BEN was observed to lose ground on the top bend and finished some distance at the rear and seemed to be cramping up and was sent for a Vet check where no abnormalities were found. | Race 6 | KEENAN CONCRETE 6 PACK - C5 - 305 | As the field raced into the first turn CAWBOURNE STACEY came out off the rail and carted TWIST MISS, ELITE BAXTER ,KARL BAXTER and HUTT PARK FLYER wide around the top bend where they covered a lot of extra ground. This incident cost these dogs a chance of a closer placing at the finish. |
| Race 7 | WWW.WANGANUICARCENTRE.COM - C0d - 645 | APPOINTED TIME (fav) and SEDGEBROOK WILL raced very wide around the first turn in to the straight causing them to cover a lot of extra ground. APPOINTED TIME raced into the lead the first time past the post and hung on for a very game win. |
| Race 8 | BROAD ROOFING SERVICES - C3/4 - 520 | As the field raced in to the first turn there was tighening and jostling as GO GROOVY was tightened and WINSOME DIGNITY ran out to avoid heels and took SHE'S TOO COOL and STARLIGHT JEWEL wide around the top bend. These two dogs could not get back into contention from there on in filling the last two positions. |
| Race 9 | CROMBIE LOCKWOOD (NZ) LTD - C5 - 305 | As the field raced in to the first turn ANOTHER BAXTER and JOSHIE'S GIRL ran wide costing them valuable ground that they could not make up there after and they filled the last two positions at the line. |
| Race 10 | MORRIE GIBBONS SIGNS - C4 - 305 | Racing down to the first turn there was jostling in midfield as LEUMEAH MISS, SCISSOR SISTERS, SIMPLY BLEESED and RANUI all were checked as they tried to clear each other. A few metres further on there was more jostling and checks to CAB DRIVER , LEUMEAH MISS, RANUI ,CAWBOURNE WHIZ and SIMPLY BLESSED with these dogs all losing ground and the first three dogs home were in the clear from these incidents.
