| Race 1 | ALLIED WORK FORCE 0800 LABOUR - C0 - 305 | SYDENHAM BYE BYE and THRILLING JOKER were checked on the first corner and went back to the rear and they stayed there for the remainder of the race. |
| Race 2 | MORRIE GIBBONS SIGNS - C0 - 520 | VIOLET JAZZ and MISTER WHISKER collided soon after the start but they recovered without losing too much ground. GISELLE QUEEN galloped on the back of UPAHUT WITCH on the first bend causing that dog to lose several lengths and UPAHUT WITCH finished a long way behind the 2nd last runner. She was examined by the Vet as a precaution and cleared of injury. |
| Race 3 | MICKEYS SUPER LIQUOR - C0 - 305 | One of the favourites THRILLING RAY was slow away from box 8 and was then forced to race wide on the bend over extra ground and he finished in 5th place. The 2nd dog BIGTIME MISS was suspected to have breached the pursuit rule but the video coverage was not conclusive and BIGTIME MISS was given the benefit of the doubt on this occasion. BIGTIME MISS was vet checked at the trainers request and no abnormalities were found. |

| Race 5 | MEDIA WORKS - C1 - 305 | DRIVING FORWARD was slow to begin and then raced very wide over extra ground and finished in last place. The favourite PSYCHOTIC was severely checked on the first corner losing several lengths and he stayed back to finish in 2nd last place. | Race 6 | KEENAN CONCRETE 6 PACK - C1 - 520 | From the outside box ROTOVEGAS GIRL raced across over the face of the field and caused tightening and checks to the rest of the field as she crossed to the rail. As the field entered the first turn CAWBOURNE POINTA came out off the inside and caused HE'S A STUNNER and DAPTO TOKEN to be checked and race wide around this bend into the back straight. |

HOMEBUSH HOLLY was sent for a vet check where no abnormalities were found. FLOATING AWAY checked over the heels of THRILLING TASHA on the first corner and moved out causing checks to DOUBLEO TOM and WIRE IT UP and all three dogs lost several lengths and all chance of a dividend placing. |

General tightening on the first corner resulted in checks to HOMEBUSH ASTRID and NEW BEGINNINGS who went back to the rear and stayed there to the finish. TALKABOUT SUZI Udy & McCracken Rule 64 Suffering from a foreleg injury and stood down for 5 days to and including 30.05.09. YES MISS Gained a start in race 5. |
| Race 10 | WANGANUI FARM SUPPLIES - C1 - 305 | The favourite JANDERRA APACHE began a little awkwardly and settled at the rear. He then checked off the heels of BIGTIME MILLY on the first corner losing four lengths and he stayed at the rear for the remainder of the race. |
