Race 1	ALLIED WORK FORCE 0800 LABOUR - C2 - 305	NICE CHOICE and BIGTIME UNIQUE were checked and lost ground on the first corner. BIGTIME UNIQUE and GROOVY SHOW collided on the home turn losing ground and they finished at the rear. GOOGLE MAGOO Udy & McCracken Rule 64 Suffering from pain in a hip muscle and stood down for 5 days to and including 19.05.09.
Race 2	VITA POWER - C3 - 305	EVAMORE moved out racing to the first corner and bumped with SUPERIOR BLACK who lost some ground. MR SIMPLY was checked in the incident and dropped back onto THRILLING SWIFT who lost several lengths.
Race 3	BILDERBECK CONSTRUCTION - C1 - 520	One of the favourites CHILLI NICK bumped together with THRILLING FEVER several times on the first bend losing momentum and was never able to make up the lost ground and finished in 3rd last place.
Race 4	MICKEYS SUPER LIQUOR - C3f - 305	CAWBOURNE ACE moved out in the run to the first corner and caused checks to SMART SHARMILA and HOMEBUSH PHOEBE who both lost ground and they never recovered and finished in the rear group.
Race 5	THE RADIOWORKS - C5 - 305	KARL BAXTER and BLACK TIE bumped together for several strides in the run to the first corner and dropped back with resultant checks to FLASH ENFORCER and HUTT PARK FLYER and they all lost ground and finished in the last four places. BLACK TIE suffered a spike wound and was stood down for 14 days. BLACK TIE L.Ahern Rule 82 Checked and suffered a spike wound and stood down for 14 days to and including 28.05.09.
Race 6	KEENAN CONCRETE 6 PACK - C2 - 520	BITTA ZIP was checked on the first turn and went back to last. He never appeared to be galloping correctly after this and tailed the field home by several lengths and was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury.
Race 7	WWW.WANGANUICARCENTRE.COM - C5 - 305	PIZZA GIRL and LEUMEAH MISS moved out soon after the start and HIFI ALLEGRO moved in and this resulted in tightening to runners in between with FANCY EEL the most affected and he dropped back to last. PIZZAGIRL and HIFI ALLEGRO bumped together on the first corner and HIFI ALLEGRO lost ground and any chance of a dividend placing.
Race 8	BROAD ROOFING SERVICES - C3/4 - 520	STARLIGHT JEWEL ran in from the start and caused checks to RAPPER NEWY, SHE'S TOO COOL, CATCHING ON and SIROCCO RICK who all lost ground with SHE'S TOO COOL and SIROCCO RICK being the most affected. WINSOME DIGNITY S.Maher Rule 64 Suffering from a sprained quadricep muscle and stood down for 7 days to and including 20.05.09.
Race 9	CROMBIE LOCKWOOD (NZ) LTD - C4 - 305	WINSOME SKY and NO DRAMA DON were checked on the bend and lost three lengths and they stayed back to finish near the rear.
Race 10	MORRIE GIBBONS SIGNS - C4 - 305	I'M INFECTIOUS and CENTRAL RAIDER were checked on the first corner losing three lengths and they stayed back to finish in the last two places.
