Judicial report: Weather: Cloudy J.T.McInerney the Trainer of CAWBOURNE POINTA was fined $ 100-00 under Rule 69.11 when the dog was presented 1.8 kilograms under its last start weight.
BIGTIME MISS and DARK SAGE both completed satisfactory trials as per Rule 81.1.

Race 1	WAINUI TAB - C0 - 305	CYCLADES and RISING GAS were checked and lost a little ground on the first corner. ZAZU BOY J.T.McInerney Rule 64 Suffering from grazing and bruising to an inside thigh and stood down for 7 days to and including 18.05.09.
Race 2	B & P ENGINEERING - C1 - 305	All clear. LAGOON MONROE Ex Wanganui on 11.05.09.
Race 3	VALLEY PARKING SERVICES - C1 - 520	All clear.
Race 4	CAFE CIBO PREMIER SPRINT - C5q - 305 Heat 1	ELITE BAXTER checked off the heels of STAR CONQUEST on the first corner and shifted out causing severe checks to itself and also to BIGTIME THUNDER, LEUMEAH MISS and WINSOME LIGHT and they all lost several lengths and finished in the last four places.
Race 5	PELORUS TRUST NZ FUTURITY - R/Aq - 520 Heat 1	DIAMOND ZAC moved in soon after the start and crowded KNOW SPPIRIT, GUNNADOO DREAMS and DARK FANCY who all lost ground. KNOW SPIRIT then moved out on the first corner and forced PICCADILLY LINE and HEARTLINE over extra ground on the first bend. Soon after, KNOW SPIRIT, GUNNADOO DREAMS and DARK FANCY bumped together losing further ground with KNOW SPIRIT the most affected and she lost several lengths.
Race 6	PELORUS TRUST NZ FUTURITY - R/Aq - 520 Heat 1	One of the favourites BUT WHY NOT was handy until entering the back straight but was then checked and dropped back several places and finished in 2nd last place.
Race 7	PELORUS TRUST NZ FUTURITY - R/Aq - 520 Heat 1	The favourite JOHNNY MIDNIGHT was a little slow to begin and settled in the rear group. WINSOME FLYER checked off heels on the first corner and moved out causing checks to JOHNNY MIDNIGHT, ANOTHER BAXTER and FANCY KATE who all lost ground. BRITNEY LANE checked off the heels of PRIVATE PEDRO on the home turn and moved out causing a check to ANOTHER BAXTER and they both lost ground in the incident. LAGOON FIFI B.Cole Rule 64 Suffering from a strained hind leg muscle and stood down for 10 days to and including 18.05.09. Certificate to be supplied.
Race 8	PELORUS TRUST NZ FUTURITY - R/Aq - 520 Heat 1	KNOW QUESTION and the favourite ST. WILD collided as the start was made and settled back. KNOW QUESTION then ran into the back of ST. WILD on the first corner and they lost further ground and all chance of a placing with KNOW QUESTION running wide for the remainder of the race and he finished in last place. UPAHUT SLAYER and DELUSIONIST collided on the first bend and UPAHUT SLAYER lost several lengths and finished in 2nd last place.
Race 9	OPAWA RACING LIMITED - C4/5 - 520	BROCKMAN LAD began awkwardly losing several lengths but then made up ground well to finish in 4th place. FANCY MEL was tightened between runners on the first corner and went back to last. She then ran a little wide for the remainder of the race and finished in 3rd last place.
Race 10	CAFE CIBO PREMIER SPRINT - C5q - 305 Heat 1	Two of the better supported runners TALIESIN BLUE and WONGAWILLINEV were severely checked on the first corner and lost all chance. COMMANDER LEE was also slightly affected in the incident and they finished in the last three places. CHINESE GIRL Ex Wanganui on 08.05.09 TWIST MIST Ex Wanganui on 08.05.09.
