Race 1	ALLIED WORK FORCE 0800 LABOUR - C0 - 305	PETITE ROSE (fav) was slow away and finished in 4th position . Soon after the start there was jostling between runners as TYPHOON PETE came across on to ZAZU BOY, and WHATA ROSE also came over trying to improve and got on to the back of BIGTIME EYE and she was dragged down for a couple of strides As the field got to the first turn TYPHOON PETE came across more towards the rail and caused ZAZU BOY to make contact with the rail for several strides and he was sent for a vet check where no abnormalities were found.
Race 2	MORRIE GIBBONS SIGNS - C0 - 520	Soon after the start SHEZA RATBAG came across on to OLYMPIC ACE (fav) and he was pushed over on to KNOW FREINDS and VOILET JAZZ causing them to be checked back at that point On entering the first turn RUN BROADY RUN came across on to VOILET JAZZ and bumped her on the side of the rump unbalancing her for several strides OLYMPIC ACE raced up to the leader on the home turn and seemed to be going to run to the lead but he never went on with his run and finished in 2nd place. The Trainer was advised that OLYMPIC ACE was given the benefit of some doubt on this occasion.
Race 3	MICKEYS SUPER LIQUOR - C2 - 305	As the field raced down to the first turn PHANTOM FOG came across on to TALKABOUT SUZI and she got up on the heels of PHANTOM FOG and ran out to avoid this dog and collided with WHATA BOWLER which resulted in these two dogs running wide across the top bend losing all chance and they finished in the last two places.
Race 4	GARY ROSS DECORATOR - C1 - 520	Soon after the start JULIE'S LADY came across towards the rail and pushed CYCLONE TRAVIS over on to CAWBOURNE SPEED and a few meteres further on LISA SHIRAZ came across on to JULIE'S LADY causing her to be squeezed back and catch a heel of CAWBOURNE SPEED and fall JULIE'S LADY recovered her feet and carried on to the lure some distance behind the field and was sent for a vet check where she was found to have suffered general bruising and was stood down for 7 days JULIE'S LADY D Cottam Checked and fell and suffered generalised bruising Rule 82.1. 7 days stand down to and including 17.05.09
Race 5	THE RADIO WORKS - C2f - 305	Racing in to the first turn BIGTIME UNIQUE had to check back off the heels of THRILLING TURK and ran wide across the top bend Shortly before the home turn SINBINED got on the heels of SUPERIOR BLACK for a couple of strides and both dogs were unbalanced at that point which cost them a couple of lengths. THRILLING FISH Udy & Mccracken Now retired due to injury problems.
Race 6	BROAD ROOFING SERVICES - C4 - 305	As the field raced down to the first turn SIR KRETION and KATHLEEN BOY came together for a few metres and shortly after EVAMORE had come out off the inside and ran out on to SIR KRETION causing him to become unbalanced as they raced in to the first turn SIR KRETION never recovered from this and finished in last position.
Race 7	GUTHRIE BOWRON WANGANUI - C1 - 520	At the start CAWBOURNE SERENE and DAPTO TOKEN came together for a couple of strides On entering the first turn CAWBOURNE SERENE was racing in tight quarters and had to check back severely off the heels of DAPTO TOKEN and CHIVAS REGAL and lost several lengths. TIZZY LEE BUCKET raced at the rear of the field and was sent for a precautionary vet check and was found to have suffered a mild abrasion to a stopper pad and a broken muzzle caused a minor cut to the nose but no stand down was required
Race 8	WWW.WANGANUICARCENTRE.COM - C3q - 305 Heat 1	At the start CRYSTAL VIRUS ,LITTLE LADY BLUE and TIGGERLONG FURY all came together and jostled each other for some distance as they made their way down to the first turn On entering the first turn TIGGERLONG FURY came out wide off the rail and had to check himself back off the heels of CALYPSO RUMBLE and went wide in to the bend Racing in to the first turn KARISAMORE was in 3rd position and went back through the field rapidly and was observed to be uncomfortable in her action and was sent for a vet check where she was found to have neck and hind leg bruising with a 7 days stand down. LITTLE LADY BLUE (fav) struck interferance several times throuhout the running and was never able to put herself in the race and finished in last position. KARISAMORE I Moore Neck and hind leg muscle soreness Rule 82.1.7 days stand down to and including 17.05.09
Race 9	KEENAN CONCRETE 6 PACK - C3q - 305 Heat 1	As the field raced down to the first turn SMART SHAMILA came across towards the rail and ALEMAIN FLASH(fav) went to check back but crossed his front legs and fell taking ZETA JONES and CHARLI'S ECHO down as well. ZETA JONES and ALEMAIN FLASH hit the outside fence ,but all three dogs recovered their feet and carried on around to the lure. ALEMAIN FLASH,CHARLI'S ECHO and ZETA JONES were all sent for vet checks. ZETA JONES was found to have suffered bruising of a shoulder and has been stood down for 10 days. CHARLI'S ECHO and ALEMAIN FLASH were examined by the vet and no abnormalities were found. MISSING BEEN Freeman & Turnwald Now retired. ZETA JONES D Parata Checked and fell and suffered shoulder bruising Rule 82.1 10 days stand down to and including 20.05.09
Race 10	WANGANUI FARM SUPPLIES - C1 - 305	Racing in to the first turn MADAM KEISHA came out wide and ran in to MIGHTY BIG SAM causing him to be checked and losing ground that they could not make up. BIGTIME BAND B.Cole Rule 64 Suffering from a toe nail injury and stood down for 10 days to and including 19.05.09 LAGOON MONROE J T Mcinerney rule 68.26 Severe toe injury right front foot Late scratching dog presented vet cert supplied 42 days stand down to and including 21.06.09.
