Judicial report: Weather: Fine P SEQUE was fined $50.00 for a breach of Rule 71.4 when he failed to arrange a catcher for THAT'S SARAH, a starter in Race 4.
N THACKWELL was fined $50.00 for a breach of Rule 71.4 when he failed to arrange a catcher for SNOW SECRET a starter in Race 8.
RD BLACKBURN was fined $100.00 for a breach of Rule 69.11 when OFF THE RAILS, a starter in Race 19 weighed in 1.8kgs under her last race start weight.
M CHRISTENSEN was fined $50.00 for a breach of Rule 71.4 when she failed to provide a catcher for BE POSITIVE a starter in Race 18.

| Race 3 | CAROL'S T.A.B DASH - C1 - 295 | BARBER'S GIRL and HOMEBUSH EARL came together soon after the jump. Soon after ETOILE NOIR ran outwards checking PLAIN ARIAL and CAWBOURNE GEORGA. MISS WICKLOW (PJ Consedine) ruptured 3rd toe medial ligament right fore. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 28 days up to and including 30 May 2009. |
| Race 4 | DUVAUCHELLE HOTEL STAKES - C0 - 520 | TOYA drifted to the rear soon after the start. In the home straight ANOTHER GROOVY drifted out to finish last. A post race veterinary check revealed right shoulder strain with a 7 day stand down recommended. COVER PAGE (RD Blackburn) was a late scratching at kennelling with diarrhoea and a temperature. TEE ESS KAY was forced wide as a result. GLEMORE LASS was subject to a veterinary check with no injury detected. TUKURUA ZAC (MS Hartland) left fore toe ligament rupture. | Race 8 | DAVID EMERSON CONSULTANCY STAKES - C0 - 520 | TIPPY TIPSTAR was slow from the boxes. SILENT WHISPER tightened TIME CATCHER, ANOTHER NICK and TIPPY TIPSTAR into the first bend. SNOWIE SECRET struck the back of HOMEBUSH SCOTT into the back straight. ANOTHER NICK drifted out late to finish at the rear with HOMEBUSH SCOTT. Both were subject to veterinary checks, with nothing amiss with ANOTHER NICK. HOMEBUSH SCOTT was found to have opened up an old back wound with a 10 day stand down recommended. EVE HILL and JULINSKY were tightened around the bend when vying for the lead. Turning for home FANTASY GRACE ran out and marred ROYAL LYCAON. FANTASY GRACE was stood down for 28 days and ordered to undertake a satisfactory trial.
