Race 1	DECOART PRINTED PRODUCTS, LEVIN - C0 - 375	BOTANY SHELLEY ran in from the start and checked UNO I'M QUICK who appeared to have suffered a serious injury and dropped back to finish a long distance behind the 2nd last dog. However, at the conclusion of the race UNO I'M QUICK seemed to have recovered but was examined by the Vet and was stood down for 28 days with a gracilus muscle injury. HOMEBUSH HANNAH finished several lengths behind the 3rd last runner and was also examined by the vet and cleared of injury. UNO I'M QUICK S.Gommans Rule 82 Checked and suffered a gracilus muscle injury and stood down for 28 days to and including 24.05.09. BIGTIME ALEX L.D.Bell Rule 82 Suffered a spike wound and stood down for 7 days to and including 03.05.09.
Race 2	BILL BOYD & ASSOCIATES - C0 - 457	All clear.
Race 3	DELTA DRAINAGE & WATER SERVICES - C1 - 375	ADDIS SUNSET ran out from the start and bumped HEALING CRYSTAL who lost a little ground. HEALING CRYSTAL was then awkwardly placed between runners on the first corner and was then galloped on by MADAM KEISHA losing further ground and finished in last place. BAYLISS BALE L.D.Bell Rule 64 Suffering from a hock injury and stood down for 28 days to and including 22.05.09. Vet certificate to be supplied. THRILLING TURN Udy & McCracken Rule 64 Suffering from a pin muscle injury and stood down for 10 days to and including 06.05.09. Vet certificate to be supplied and papers endorsed. GENISTA SPIRIT N.Clark Rule 64 Suffering from diarrhoea and stood down for 5 days to and including 01.05.09.
Race 4	GRANT IRVINE PHARMACY - C1 - 457	Two of the favourites SINGAPORE WILLY and THRILLING ACE drew wide boxes and were forced to race wide over extra ground and they finished 4th and 6th.
Race 5	SPORTS LODGE MOTEL, WANGANUI - C3 - 375	All clear.
Race 6	WENHAM GRAIN & SEED - C4/5 - 457	One of the better supported runners LAGOON FIFI was handy enough on the first corner but ran out a little and had to check over the heels of CAWBOURNE KING losing ground and she never recovered and finished well back.
Race 7	OUTBACK TRADING COMPANY - C5 - 375	WINSOME CHANCE was checked on the first corner, went back to last and stayed there to the finish.
Race 8	NZ RACING SERIES FINAL - RESf - 457	CRAFTY FLYNN was checked and fell on the first corner and KNOW DESIRE and JUST LIKE BEE were both hindered in the incident and lost all chance. CRAFTY FLYNN was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury.
Race 9	RADIO TRACKSIDE 828AM MANAWATU - C2/3 - 457	The favourite SEASWIFT led until approaching the home turn but went off stride and dropped back quickly through the field to finish several lengths last. He was examined by the Vet and stood down for 28 days with a hip support muscle injury. DADDY was checked on the first corner losing four lengths and all chance of a placing. THRILLING ANGEL K.Walsh Rule 64 Suffering from a toe injury and stood down for 7 days to and including 03.05.09. THRILLING SKITZ D.Macauley Rule 64 Suffering from gastroenteritis and stood down for 5 days to and including 01.05.09. BLACK IS BACK S.Gommans Rule 68 A late scratching due to suffering from a bruised hind leg and stood down for 7 days to and including 03.05.09. SEASWIFT D.Schofield Rule 82 Suffered a hip support muscle injury and stood down for 28 days to and including 24.05.09.
Race 10	NZ-BRED: WWW.GREYHOUNDSIRES.CO.NZ - C4 - 375	The favourite PRIVATE PEDRO was slow to begin and settled in last place. He then secured a clear inside run and finished well for 3rd placing.
