Race 1	ALLIED WORK FORCE 0800 LABOUR - C2 - 305	Soon after leaving the boxes there was tightning between the field as CAP FANTASTIC came across on to LEO'S BOY ,GOOGLE MAGOO,FORGET NOT and TALKAOUT SUZI. This resulted in CAP FANTASTIC getting on the heels of GOOGLE MAGOO and losing his balance and then was hit from behind by MAGNIFICENT and fell. CAP FANTASTIC recovered his feet and finished a distance behind the field and was sent for a vet check which revealed general bruising and a 10 day stand down was imposed. Race 2	MICKEYS SUPER LIQUOR - C3 - 305	BIGTIME SCAR, MISSING BEEN and TIGGERLONG FURY were slow away . MISSING BEEN could not get in to contention from there on in and finished towards the rear.
Race 3	BILDERBECK CONSTRUCTION LTD - C1/2 - 520	As the field got away from the boxes PAYTON BALE and GUILTY VERDICT came together for a couple of strides As the field raced down to the first turn PAYTON BALE came across as MOST EXCUSED came out and they jostled for a few strides and GUILTY VERDICT who was in behind these dogs had to check back off heels and lost ground. At the same time GROOIN'BAIN made contact with PAYTON BALE and almost lost his footing and never recovered from there on in to finish at the rear of the field GROOVIN'BAIN was sent for a vet check and was found to have suffered a spike wound and has been stood down for 14 days SERIOUS CHARGE B.Cole Rule 64 Suffering from a toe injury and stood down for 10 days to and including 26.04.09. Certificate to be presented. GROOVIN'BAIN D Parata suffered a spike wound Rule 82.1. 14 days stand down to and including 30.04.09
Race 4	CROMBIE LOCKWOOD (NZ) LTD - C3 - 305	As the field were racing across the top RANUI checked back off the heels of BIGTIME WORLD and shifted out slightly as RAPPER NEWY was going around LITTLE LADY BLUE and RAPPER NEWY fell at that point causing LITTLE LADY BLUE to stumble and SHARIMORE ran on to his back .THRILLING JENNA who was in behind had to hurdle over SHARIMORE who ended up almost hitting the outside fence SHARIMORE was sent for a vet check and was found to have suffered chest muscle bruising and a 7 days stand down is required RAPPER NEWY was sent for a vet check and was found to have pain in the spinal area with a 7 day stand down imposed. LITTLE LADY BLUE was sent for a vet check and was found to have suffered slight bruising with a 5 day stand down required GROOVE ARMADA Ex Addington on 14.04.09. SHARIMORE I Moore sore chest muscles Rule 82.1. 7 days stand down to and including 23.04.09 LITTLE LADY BLUE B Cole slight bruising Rule 82.1. 5 days stand down to and including 21.04.09 RAPPER NEWEY B Marsh pain over lower spine &pelvis Rule 82.1. 7 days stand down to and including 23.04.09
Race 5	VITA POWER - C4 - 305	All clear HOMEBUSH CASTOR J.T.McInerney Rule 68 A late scratching at kennelling time when found to have a swollen hock and stood down for 10 days to and including 26.04.09.
Race 6	KENNAN CONCRETE 6 PACK - C3/4 - 520	As the field raced in to the first turn LAGOON FIFI was racing in tight quarters and came out sharply underneath SPIKES SPECIAL and BROCKMAN LAD and this caused her to race out wide around the bend losing all chance therafter
Race 7	BROAD ROOFING SERVICES - C3/4 - 305	As the field started on the first bend BACK DRAUGHT raced around the field and crossed towards the rail causing checks to KARISAMORE, CENTRAL RAIDER and BEE ROCCA causing these 3 dogs to lose ground at that point and they could not get back in to contention from there on in
Race 8	WANGANUI SECURITY SERVICES - C5 - 305	As the field raced in to the first turn there was tightning from the outside in and SIMPLY BLESSED caught the heels of BILLY RUBIN and fell. FANCY MEL was caught up in this incident and was forced to race out wide. As SIMPLY BLESSED recovered her feet she went to chase the field , unfortunatley she headed back towards the on coming field and despite the best endeavours of some handlers to catch the dog they could not. The lure driver Mr Ray Udy had no altervative but to pull the lure up on the home turn to avoid a collision This was a 520 metre race and as the dogs had almost travelled that distance by the time they were pulled up there was no alternative but to declare the race a no race and it was abandoned. Race 9	MORRIE GIBBONS SIGNS - C5 - 305	Soon after the start there was crowding as CHINESE GIRL came out on to CHARTERIS BAY. HIFI ALLEGRO then came across the face of the field from box 8 and caused severe crowding to CAWBOURNE STACEY,AS FAST AS,WILL ZAM and CHARTERIS BAY ,causing these dogs to lose ground at that point and there chance of a better placing.
Race 10	MORRIE GIBBONS SIGNS - C5 - 305	ALLEGRO VISION (fav) was endevouring to make a run across the top bend but was kept out wide by other runners and ran 5th at the line PIZZA GIRL ran wide across the top bend and in to the home straight and finished in last placing.
