Judicial report: Weather: Fine Handler S.McInerney was concerned with the state of the track following the running of race 9 in which the dog DA COOLA (J.T.McInerney) was checked and received a torn hip muscle. The stipendiary stewards consulted with Race Day Veterinary Surgeon, Dr. Malcolm Jansen, who was of the opinion that the track was in a safe condition and that the injury to DA COOLA was not track related.

| Race 3 | BILDERBECK CONSTRUCTION LTD - C1/2 - 305 | At the end of the back straight GO STRAIT THREW received a check from GOES SCIROCCO and lost considerable ground. BITTA ZIP and LOONEY LEE collided as the field entered the bend with both dogs losing ground. Shortly after the start GO STRAIT THREW checked GOES SCIROCCO. The fourth placed runner, GOES SCIROCCO, received a severe check from behind by LOONEY LEE shortly after the finish of this race, as a result of this incident GOES SCIROCCO received a broke a left front radius ulna and was euthanised. CATCHING ON then checked off the heels of KIMMY'S DIVA when back in the field. The winner SARAH'S POWER collapsed at the lure suffering post race hypoxia and collapse and was stood down for 10 days and is to complete a trial supervised by an Authorised Race Day Veterinary Surgeon.
