Race 1 PAIN SECURITY SERVICES MAIDEN - C0 - 375 There was no head on coverage from trackside for this race KNOW FRIENDS was squeezed back and lost ground as they raced in to the first turn
Race 2 GRANT IRVINE PHARMACY SPRINT - C1 - 375 PAYNE ZONE (fav) was slow away at the start ,then was checked back as JENNIMORE came across towards the rail PAYNE ZONE recovered to finish in 2nd placing at the line HEALING CRYSTAL came across at the start and checked CATCH THE BREEZE for a couple of strides TALKABOUT SUZIE was up handy going across the top bend ,was noticed to retreat back through the field and beat one runner home , she was sent for a vet check and has been stood down for five days with a muscle injury----------. TALKABOUT SUZI Udy & McCraken injury to left pectoral muscle Rule 82.1.5 days stand down to and including 29.03.09
Race 3 DECOART PRINTED PRODUCTS, LEVIN - C2 - 375 FLASHFIRE COAL went up with the lids and was tightened and checked as he tried to make up ground early on . FLASH FIRE COAL was sent for a vet check and was found to have suffered a triceps muscle injury and has been stood down for fourteen days FLASHFIRE COAL T Downey injury to left triceps muscle Rule 82.1.14 days stand down to and including 7.04.09
Race 4 W&E CAVANAGH LTD SPRINT - C1 - 375 WINSOME DELUXE was very slow from the boxes then raced in to the field as they entered the first turn and had to check back off the heels of ONLY WAY OUT causing this dog to run up on the back of DRIVING FORWARD resulting in these dogs losing ground and they could not get back in to contention from there on in filling the last three positions at the post ----------. ADDIS SUNSET B Goldsack injuries to left pectoral muscle dog presented vet cert supplied Rule 64.12.14 days stand down to and including 4.04.09 .
Race 5 WENHAM GRAIN & SEED - C3 - 375 Shortly before turning for home THRILLING ZARA and CALYPSO RUMBLE came together jostling for a few strides ,resulting in them becoming unbalanced and losing their momentum and dropping back to the rear----------.
Race 6 DELTA DRAINAGE & WATER SERVICES - C4 - 375 CAWBOURNE BESS ,CAWBOURNE GREG and GO GROOVY were all slow away As the field raced down to the first turn GO GROOVY was attempting to make ground and was squeezed back from in between CAWBOURNE DORE coming in and JAMES BEE keeping his line off the rail----------.
Race 7 BRIGHT SPOT DISTANCE TROPHY - C1d - 766 ANDERS ROAD (fav) raced wide in to and around the first turn was too strong carrying on to win. FLEUR NOIRE was handy early then lost ground around the first bend and was noticed to be galloping uncomfortably for the rest of the journey and finished a distance behind the field FLEUR NOIRE was sent for a vet check and was found to have suffered muscle damage and has been stood down for ten days FLEUR NOIRE G&S Hayden Holmes injury to left hock and quadriceps muscle injury Rule 82.1.10 days stand down to and including 3.04.09
Race 8 BILL BOYD & ASSOCIATES - C4/5 - 375 As the field raced down to the first turn RYMOR REASON had come out wide as BLACK TIE came over resulting in RYMOR REASON having to check back severly and run up on the back of WINSOME NOVA and almost pulling that dog down to the ground ,as he regained his feet he cannonned in to DANDALOO BLUE causing him to run out wide taking CENTRAL RAIDER with him WINSOME NOVA was sent for a vet check where no abnormalities were found
Race 9 OUTBACK TRADING COMPANY LTD - C3/4 - 457 FIND PEDRO (fav) was slow away from the boxes and recovered to run on well for 2nd placing at the line JIMMY HALL was smartly away from the boxes and led in to the first turn, YOUNG DADDY was racing on his outside as SUZY MAC came around causing YOUNG DADDY to be squeezed back at that point ,FIND PEDRO who was slow away run up on the rail as SPIKES SPECIAL made ground quickly and ran up on to the heels of JIMMY HALL resulting in this dog going back through the field and pulled up lame at the lure. SPIKES SPECIAL had to change ground outward rapidly from this incident and ran on for a brave 3rd placing at the line YOUNG DADDY was sent for a vet check and was found to have suffered injuries to both quad muscles with a 7 days stand down . JIMMY HALL was sent for a vet check and has been xrayed with damage to a hock with a 42 days stand down reccommended YOUNG DADDY C &W Morris injuries to both quadriceps muscles Rule 82.1.7 days stand down to and including 31.3.09 JIMMY HALL A&J Hall injuries to off hind hock Rule 82.1.42 days stand down to and including 5.05.09
Race 10 OROUA DOWNS TANNERY - C1/2 - 457 BUT WHY NOT (fav)and FLY WITH ACTION came together at the start causing BUT WHY NOT to scramble for a couple of strides BOLTS BOLTED came across hard towards the rail causing SUZI THE FLUZY and BIGTIME GUY to be severly checked back to the rear Soon before turning in to the home straight BIGTIME GUY and SUZIE THE FLUZY were endevouring to make ground in tight quarters when BIGTIME PAL tried to make a run around the field and caught the hind quarters of SUZIE THE FLUZY and fell ,he regained his feet and carried on to the pull up area BIGTIME PAL was sent for a vet check and was found to have suffered bruising over his left thigh requiring a 10 day stand down BIGTIME PAL C&W Morris bruising over left thigh Rule 82.1.10 days stand down to and including 3.04.09
